So with it being my first time, I wish to have a multitude of opinions.
Here's what they look like, all smells nice and good, any visuals anybody doesn't like? Or do they look somewhat normal? Edited for removal of photos

Indeed it is a greenhouse, hooked up to an ultrasonic. Plastic all around, 5' high 2'deep 3' width. I left the bottom parts of the zipper open for FAE. Should I poke holes in the greenhouse or what would be a good way of getting a constant supply of air exchange?

A Shotgun fruiting chamber would be best for your BRF cake man. Fresh air is one of the main pinning trigger and the SGFC works wonders. Can we see your whole green house setup? I love the idea of a walk in grow chamber.

7 cakes, I'll post a photo very shortly of my whole setup. Totally want advice and opinions on how to make it more effective. Unfortunately I didn't have enough money to go make more and fill up my greenhouse.
But with what I did spend my money on I thought of future expansion use.

You don't have money to make cakes, but you could afford to set up a greenhouse?
It looks nice, but stop wasting your time with cakes. Move on to grains.

Was your greenhouse cheaper than a PC?
PC is purchase #1 or you're doing it wrong.
If your greenhouse was that cheap, please let me know where you got your supplies. I'd like to build one.

I've seen the greenhouse part itself for like 20-30 bucks at big lots, didn't come with a humidifier though.

A SGFC will give your cakes plenty of FAE.

Lol, the dude has a greenhouse. He doesn't need an SGFC. I don't think it needs more FAE either. If you get fuzzy feet on those stems them worry about that.

About this time every year they 50 percent clearance those 4 tiers..got both of mine for 15 each.... Sorry mane cakes really do tend to suffer in greenhouses...bulk or edibles work good enough....i ran some cakes in greenhouses the best i could do for them was bottom watering through a soaked dish of vermiculite...other than that the pins wanted to abort...so in the end you might have to try something like that.....yours appear to be doing ok though..nice

Well I'm glad with the positive reviews. Thank you all! Umm but another question now, totally due to my inexperience
So I just had a partial veil break over night, when and where should I harvest it from. If anybody wouldn't mind Photoshopping a red line where I should cut. Or just a good description with my photo as reference.
Thanks so much guys and gals so excited for my first harvest to come in.

Harvest it now IMO. Cut as close to the cake as you can but i would harvest both those guys since they are attached. just to make things simple since its the first grow for you.
also since its a first grow id take a print!! its uber easy even for newbies. the first time i took a print all i did was.. tin foil.. cut the cap off. removing as much stem as you can(use gloves) put cap on foil gill side down(duh) put a glass or whatever over cap to cover it. after while put foil w/print in a zip lock.
please use all the sterile practices.. wiping with alc and using SAB. although my first print was on my book shelf but it was contam free! read up on cloning and pastys agar tek. uber easy
please dont flame for such a lame print tek but its not a tek just something that worked for me.

Merci mushboy! I did have an ideal cap that I already took for a spore print. Unfortunately it hasn't dropped its spores yet, 36 hours currently! I used card stock sterilized in the oven at 425 for 15 mins, put in my greenhouse and covered the cap with a glass on the stock.
Idk why it didn't drop its spores actually. But I will be definitely taking one or two prints. Thanks for the advice!!

Hell. As lame as your tek was - it's still not too far away from ideal...
You've got the major points in there-and you wrote about sterility.

Should I use another foil to tape the print in an enclosed "envelope". And do I sterilize foil at certain temp?
Fudge it editing my post to not make it seem more popular than it is, got some photo updates
So I'm not sure why the one shroom turned really brown, I harvested the other cap and saw lots of blueing as I cut the little sucker open. Currently the cap is looking alive and healthy though, hoping to see spores in the next couple days super excited.
And yes my mushroom knife is a butterfly :P totally sterilized in alcohol

just wipe foil with alc. put cap down and a cover. put somewhere clean. remove cap and quickly transfer foil to a ziplock once print is deposited. no cooking of foil or anything. like i said i did this on a book shelf in a bedroom.
also i lied :P first print was this way...[/image][/url] i was clean and this print made these

Rookie mistake and realized it now. I was relying on long time exposure from pot lights to hopefully induce pinning. Furthering forward. I learned that my sun blaster light tube makes them pin like fudging mad!

Okay update: I'm scared shitless to actually try these out. First batch and all, so; what's the worst that could happen? What's recommended to do?
I've tripped before, 3grams does me in like a charm.
How do I know these are safe is probably my biggest question

They are safe. The yellowing is mushroom metabolites, like was said before. 3 grams dry should be just fine for you.
Dont be anxious, psilocybe can't hurt you. They look completely healthy. The only time you should really be worried about eating is if they are covered in some kind of mold. Even mushrooms with mold on the cake but not on the mushroom can sometimes be salvaged and eaten, and the cake tossed after harvesting.

Well the worst that could happen, is if they were somehow another species and they slipped by you, me, and everybody else, you could die a horrible death.
If the substrate were just a little bacterial (like all of them are outdoors) then you'd probably be as safe, or safer, than if you had picked them straight out of field manure. If you can't stop thinking about them possibly being not safe then I would just hold off on eating them. The "I think I'm dying omg I have to throw my shit away before I call the ambulance" trip is not a fun one. Biggest thing I'd be worried about is you don't know how strong your mushrooms are compared to any others you've had.

I agree on the trip. Frame of mind and setting is just as if not more important than the trip itself.
If you don't feel good, are in a bad mood, are anxious, or scared to death, the mushroom Gods will punish you for it.

My first time I hallucinated zombies and I was rolling in a blanket for an hour. Not a fun trip. So I want to be in the right mindset. I'm gonna prep myself for sometime this week if y'all say this stuff looks safe. My original plan was to let somebody else more experienced trip first, but fuck it, i try my science experiment. Mycology ftw, if I'm dead by Wednesday, shit wasn't safe

Wow were they good, I was outside on my back deck. Totally late at night and it's Canada so it's cold rn (kind of). But I totally forgot where I was, as I would say, I was literally lost in music!!!
But I'm thinking of buying this. https://www.amazon.ca/Presto-01781-23-Quart-Pressure-Canner/dp/B0000BYCFU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1474317581&sr=8-2&keywords=all+american+pressure+canner
Is this one worth it? I'm trying to be cost effective.
Also any input would be nice, I'm thinking of grains. Tips or advice for it? I plan to follow some teks to the "t", but I'm just looking for guidance to the good teks. Any input is awesome.

The presto 23qt is great. That's what I have and recommend to everyone. Makes great soup too.
You pmed me about agar teks. This is what most people are doing these days. Check out the agar link in my thread once you've read that. Agar is brutally simple actually. A lot of teks make it sound hard. It's not.

i got my AA921 for 120$ off craigslist, praise jesus
my success rates got a lot more predictable when i got an AA PC. not that it should matter if you are doing things right, but the AA is just so well built and safer than the stamped PCs
i recommend making a craigslist "alert" (also called "saved searches") for "all american" and "pressure cooker", that way you will get an email every time someone posts one in your area. lots of people inherit these things and have no idea how valuable they are to us

Oh yeah, to both the guys above. I saw an all American for $40 (Canadian) which I nearly shit myself over. I mean on kijiji this girl was selling it, too bad I didn't even have the $40 like 6 days ago. But whatever I went out today and picked myself up a pressure cooker made by presto, I made sure to get a gauge with it.
I also picked up red millet, white millet, and than as well a 50 pound bag of WBS.
Now not to sound like an "ass", but idk I like the hobby and would like to collect prints. If anybody sees this and is generous enough to give me a print please PM me (I am meaning free btw :$ - like I mean if you got some laying around I would gladly accept). That is not to say I'm all up for handouts as a person, I have my own prints, I just would love to gain some from the community.
Although I say free, when I get a successful run of good, clean, prints I would totally be willing to return the favour.
