Spore print fail, why?

Hello everybody, I harvested the second flush of Mckennaii yesterday and decided to make a couple of prints, so I put the cap over some aluminium paper and covered it with a glass, inside a tupperware and everything cleaned with alcohol. After 24 hours I went to take away the cap to let the print dry a little bit before sealing it and I found the cap all black, very wet and gooey, and no spore print just a little bit of dark water. Why did this happen, do I have to let the cap dry a little bit before doing the print? Or what? So there's something that I did wrong or something I didn't do. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, regards.

If the cap was too wet, that could have something to do with it. Misting too close to harvest?

This has happened too me a couple times. Tagyo told me the cap is sweating. So I put the cap on the foil in a sour cream container and cracked the the lid a bit and it worked. the jar on the cap in the tupperware is making it sweat.

Ah, yeah, printing in a SAB where the caps can kind of dry up over time is a good idea. Sealing them with the printing surface could also easily have been the cause.

Well I misted until the last day, are you saying the day before harvest I should stop misting?
And about covering the print surface with a glass, don't a lot of people do it like that?
Next try I'll do it in a tupperware and without the glass. Maybe with a little bag of silica gel would be a good idea?

That white mushroom wants you to use Cure on it.
But yes, stop misting 24 hours before harvest, so that you're not working against the drying process.

Did I say something retarded? That IS the reason you don't print in a sealed container right? Or.. do you in fact do that? What am I missing here?
