Things are so expensive in the U.K...

Latest grievance: American Weigh Gemini Scales $19.99 in U.S.A or £66.56... in the U.K
i mean really?? that's more than 400% as expensive So the search for reasonably priced milligram scales is still on. ---
This happens time and again, a product will be 200% and over the going rate in America.. I mean taxes are one thing, shipping another - these price hikes make things unattainable, Long time i moved.

Looks like they're trying it on mate. If you scroll down the page you'll see what looks like exactly the same thing for £20 with free p+p, and others way cheaper.
Had the same thing happen on ebay when I was looking to buy some petri's. Some money grasping mother wanted over £20 for a sleeve of 20. Over a £ a frigging dish! Arseholes.

We haven't left the EU yet, article 50 has yet to be "activated" and our unelected PM, Theresa May doesn't seem to be in a hurry to sign it.

Food is cheaper in the uk, welfare is (kind of) better, education is more affordable, and you still have free healthcare.
And you can definitely ger micro scales cheaper than that. Just pick a different band. Postage from the states hikes the price on USA only brands.

Still I would imagine the uncertainty has certainly messed with the value of the economy, but yeah I forgot the transition was going to be a long process over years.

Aw bless. Explains religion perfectly. An animal evolved the ability to ask a question, and without an ounce of understanding of natural science and total ignorance of simple concepts, came up with an answer anyway.

I don't think abandoning the EU helped your currency value.
But yeah, London is right up their with New York with cost of living.

I'm still baffled that that many people voted.... - people don't understand politics, so what were they voting for?
I think it was a test of just how much influence the media can have on the massess

That is a giant steamy turd straight from a donkey's butthole.
The cost of living here is also ridiculous. We pay 2-3 times as much as Americans just for fucking groceries. A pack of cigarettes runs me $20+ a pack.
