Yeah man, I skimmed what he wrote and its actually not just a crazy creepy ramble
But dude, you've got to learn some internet ettiquitte. Its painful to read a huge block of text and its also time-consuming. I want a conversation not an exchange of research papers, you know what I mean?
Just giving you a heads up, you're new to this community (by post count anyway) and possibly internet boards in general. This is your only warning, further blocks of text will result in severe beatings... I may be drinking lol

TL;DR = people's personal and individual beliefs were always (from antiquity) more important than the intra-personal and collective beliefs of the masses, that is, until the masses took over from the minorities, and said minorities assimilated.

Kinko said: The answer to life is really simple and not so complex the answer has been hiding in plain site all along. Humans can have a wide range of experiences but never get to experience being dead. When you die on this plain of existence you immediately go to a parallel universe almost identical to our own , you keep on living life just like before , death is nothing but a near death experience.. Every time you have a near death experience you die and are summoned in another universe or world. There are millions of copies of yourself all thought universe .... I know I have died at least once when someone abruptly switched lanes and got on my lane so to avoid them I turned and drove on the grass going 93 mph , I hit the breaks the car turned sideways and I slid for a good 300-400 yards before coming to a stop without a scratch on me or the car... Hhhaa yea right asshole I know I died that day... But not really since there are millions of copies of me ready to tune into my consciousness as soon as I pass..... This is really all common sense
Holy shit... you are so spot on it's insane! Okay... I have died TWICE that I know of... This may seem like a crazy question, and I don't really care if anyone can identify with or understand it: Has anyone ever been stamped into the Book of Life? When it happens, you know it. It's like a sonic boom comes down on you and you can seriously see it ripple through the sky like an echo. Time actually slows down for a moment, but you do not. You get a sense like that moment was entered into a holy book of moments. Like the actually fucking moment is in this page of this book and underneath it something is written.

I'll admit that I had a similar experience. only mine didn't come from realizing that there was no god, quite the opposite I had mine when I discovered my own faith, and the many gods that it contains.
it was the realization that the gods aren't kind and loving, nor do they need to be, they have their own roles to play and those roles don't often overlap with ours.
The abrahamic faiths are actually a bit of an anomaly when it comes to faith worldwide, in that to my knowledge their god is the only one who is described as being all loving and caring, AND takes a personal and vested interest in individuals.
most other faiths that i've heard about the gods are distant, and don't generally pay much direct attention to us. and when they do it tends to be a fairly life shattering event and not often for the better.

You know, I never really thought of it that way but you're right. Even the story of Prometheus, when a god came down to help mankind he was horrifically punished for it. I never considered the spiritual rammifications of such a heavenly body, to believe that you weren't actually intended to have the only thing that keeps you alive in the winter... what the fuck kind of faith is that?
But thats from the point of view of being raised in a christian household, to them we would be so fuckin weird
Edit: Have I ever mentioned that you're basically my favorite poster ever? You're the fucking weirdest, craziest, coolest, most strangely brilliant dude ever

I read it. You got a little carried away with examples of cognitive dissonance and bell curves and the such, but overall great post.

The thing is, cognitive dissonance is the biggest reason why most people still hold onto their faiths.
