i drew this the other night while i was breaking up with my girlfriend that ive been with for what would have been two years on march 8th .. i drew it while i was on the phone with her ...

... though the picture is not complete yet, this is it?s raw form from the other night ...

you got it ... illustrator for the line work, photoshop for the coloring

i really don't think it's even nearly one of my better works, but the work means a lot to me because of the situation ...

That's 100% illustrator and photoshop? I thought I saw like.. pencil shading in the colored area. (Not accusing you or anything, I just expected you to say it was based on a pencil or ink start)

everything i draw on the computer is fresh from the computer, mainly because i don't have a scanner or even a digital camera ...  :smirk:

the texture in the eye is a landscape multiplied in with blue overlays in areas of it

i didn't even notice the landscape in the eye until i read your post, it took me a minute to even realize it was a face.... it's really nice though, and i'm sorry about the situation

and the torment of inexpressible feelings and mis-communication.
but that's just my interpretation.
