UPDATE:
holy jesus it has been a busy summer!!!! so fun though So i have been working towards isolates and doing tons of agar stuff, working with lots of varieties and species. but just wanted to post an update on what became of this project
just harvested a tub that was a clone from this first AA+ monotub, incredible fruit size and weight!! had one monster that weighed almost 300g by itself! total harvest was 3,496 grams first flush off of 1 66qt tub (!!!)

pretty sweet!!! i know its bad form to clone a clone, but i might have to clone that monster. there were still lots of strains present in this culture, i have done an additional 7 transfers trying to isolate from it
tub was coir, verm, hpoo, gypsum, & straw. really digging the AA+ genetics ive been working with, cant wait to start testing monocultures and colecting some data points
here is another clone AA+ tub (different culture) just now starting to pin:

thanks to everyone for all the great info on the forum (that means you bodhi, pasty, inoc, etc)!
warm regards

3496 grams first flush on a 66 quart tub is damn fine work. That's a real beast ya go there, personally I would try and keep it going for sure.
Nice work

Nice work
thanks pasty! i very much appreciate it, i think you personally deserve at least half the credit, no shit. between you, azure, bodhi, frank, and of course RR (peace be upon him), the rest of us dont really have any excuses left to have shitty grows lol
i will definitely clone it, damn thing looks like something from No Man's Sky... some KSSS lookin characteristics.
I also got super lucky today and FINALLY had a PE fruit drop spores!!! theyve all been sterile so far, but this one is printing like a normal fruit

Thanks buddy!! more than happy to send you a print, this line of AA+ has been the print that just keeps on giving, have lots of promising cultures in the works
i think my 2nd best was just over 2kg, like 2003g or something... i thought my scale was fucked at first (i checked) but then i looked at the MOUNTAIN in front of me and it was confirmed. did keep expecting to wake up from a dream though, especially with the PE print... been dreaming about agar and tubs a lot lately lol

Nice gangly monster and tub. I love that AA+. Albinos? Kind of light I guess.
How much spawn per tub? What was the sub or casing ratio? Did you soak grain after you broke it up before you spawned it?

thanks brotha!
yeah leucistic they are a lot lighter before they are covered in spores
I used a spawn bag with probably 4-5 real quarts of wheat berries. Ratio was about 1:2-3. I mix coir, hpoo, gypsum and verm and bring to field capacity, then pasteurize, and at the same time i pasteurize a paint strainer bag full of straw. I use 2 gallon freezer bags of substrate and several handfulls of straw per tub, no casing. And yes i did soak the grain after breaking it up, right in the spawn bag
