Ok so I found a bunch of mushrooms growing out back in the soil. I was hoping they could be some gym species, specifically gymnopilus luteoviridis because they are orange in color but I'm a complete noob at this so. Anyways I live in central florida, and the soil they are growing in just happens to be filled with vitamins from crushed wood that my dad brought in from some place where they sell soil? lol I'll include some pictures.
Habitat: Growing on soil and decomposing wood
Gills:Sorta like a beige color and very light orange
Stem: They're little babies right now super tiny. Maybe like an inche in height.
Cap: Orange!
Spore print color: I have no idea
Bruising: No bruising yet,
Here are some pictures
Also don't these seem like they could be a different species?

Both of your collections are not Gymnopilus, you can see the white spores on the caps of your first collection, which is the wrong color for Gymnopilus spores.
I suggest taking the time to learn about the genus Gymnopilus before targeting it, this way you will know what specimens to collect for further review, and which ones to leave.

Are you sure tho? I assumed the white stuff was verticillium and not spore because the weather hasn't been ideal lately and they seem unhealthy ie second collection. If they arent gyms then whatever they can die :P But if they are I wanna help them get healthy asapQuote:
