I want to try and grow these indoor. Can I take a spore print off of it just like you can a cube? Or should I try to clone it to agar?

Clone it for sure. Ganoderma doesn't do well from spore, or they are very hard to germinate. I can't remember which.

I would say cloning might be more of a sure thing. At least you would know the clone can fruit. At any rate cloning wilds and wild spore prints can be tricky to clean up, be sure your agar skills are up to speed.

Indeed, good call on the germination as well. Some species are difficult to germ IIRC.

Should I clone it now while it's young or wait for it to get bigger? I misted it really good and put a colander over it so it doesn't get burn up by the sun (middle of front lawn, no shade at all). Hoping it gets enough fae. It has slits running from the top to the bottom all the way around.

And pastywhyte you're the only reason I got into agar. Love your miniround tek
