cambo BRF colonization/consolidation time and pinning
    #23554465 - 08/18/16 07:00 PM (7 years, 6 months ago)

I've had my cakes in jars for a month now, they look well consolidated and in a few of them I'm seeing little brown spots, which I believe are the precursors to pins. BUT this is all happening so slowly. Many of the jars look the same as a week or two ago. It's been very hot and humid, don't know if that factors.

As an experiment, I took one cake out a 1.5 weeks ago and did dunk and roll and have it in a small chamber and am misting 2x a day and have 6500k light on for half the day, but no signs of anything yet.

Anyone have specific experience with this strain, is it particularly slow, or are there other factors? Is there any harm in leaving them in the jars until I get little pins forming?

just be patient, you can wait for pins or knots...i prefer to give it pinning triggers though.

I did put the jars in the fridge over night one day last week. They are in the dark. Any other pinning triggers I might try?

Putting them in the fridge is the opposite of a pinning trigger. That's how you stop them from doing anything

Complete darkness is outdated. Light is good from day one
