OP is not selling squat. You're acting like a douche. It's not surprising some people have you on ignore.
hey man how are you feeling? i have read your stuff about me i assume and the first thing i thought of was that this guy does not like me? i do have a set of books on ebay by gordon wassson about maria sabina and her mazatec mushroom valeda, and it is a musical score and i bought it new and ordered it in the late 70's from a new york bookstore. it has turned into something of a collectible and a rarity in the field of ethnomycolgy, and there is another one on ebay and the guy is asking $3300 i think and i am asking $1350. is there a problem with me selling my own property? i am on social security and that is all the income i have so i am selling some stuff now as i have a wife and 6 dogs and 3 cats and a home to take care of you see and i am 70. i also got the idea that you think i am selling some book of mine? anyhow i have nothing to sell on this site whatsoever. i am not mad at you but i am curious as to why you are zeroing in om me?

dear genius roger heim was the most well known mycologist in the world in the 50s from france and after gordon wasson discovered maria sabina and the mushrooms, he brought them from mexico to france and there in his lab he developed the first growing techniques for cubes. then they sent them to switzerland to give them to albert hoffman who was the chemist that discovered lsd-25. then hoffman extracted out the psilocybin and gave that to wasson and wasson went back to mexico to give the pill to maria sabrina and she said it was the same as the mushroom. i sure hope that all of this does not bore you.

In some ways I can see the point of dropping the rating system. In some forums it's used more as a cudgel or a bully tool than something to have any real meaning. I know I've had some battles clearing the ground so to speak and came close to bowing out myself. I did find out one thing, some people get really butthurt if you put them on ignore and will attempt to make your life miserable, names not mentioned. Best to just ingore them and be done with it without signalling your intent.

You, sir, are just a troll. Leave the poor guy alone. He is simply trying to wrap his head around the new techniques that we have all built upon his and others' old techniques. We walk on the shoulders of giants that came before us, and this man is one of/knows many of those giants. If you don't agree with his threads then don't read them

Ratings are important. Cultivation regulars use them to show who's advice is worthwhile allowing people to get a sense of who to listen to if no TC's or mods are around. Pubbers and those like them often have ratings that indicate they are not growers if you read them and people who troll and spew out bad info are flagged as such by the rating system.
Don't ignore people, that's weak. Words typed on a screen should not be able to hurt you. If you ignored someone because they said stuff you didn't like, it would be smarter to find their reasons for saying those things. You can't do that when you have them on ignore.

No argument from me, PW. I had a fist full on ignore initially but took them all off. Between mods and talks with the raters, any ratings I had issues with got cleared up. Part of the learning curve when you're ramping up and trying to become somewhat useful in this forum I guess. This is probably where I should insert "but I'm feeling much better, now".

In that vein, I wouldn't mind seeing a list of books in the OP's library. I figure you can never do enough reading and, aside from the obvious flaws one might run into, there will always be some grain of knowledge to be gained, even if only not to recommend that book.
