While most information both currently and old has been posted and discussed exhaustively on the boards here, I am certain someone may be interested if only for the collectibilty. Oss and oric would certainly generate intrest just in its historical value.
However giveaways and trades must happen in the marketplace. You will need 50 posts and be registered for 90 days before you can access the market.

I think many of us have heard of Steven Pollack. I mean, he's a legend.

I'm not going to suggest they are irrelevant, they are part of the foundation upon which the hobby was built. But there are some things we now understand better. A determined individual can learn everything those book have to teach right here on the boards.
That being said, some people prefer a book while some good info from them may have been overlooked over the years.
Edit not sure why I thought you were trying to do a giveaway retard moment for me.

The last I heard were regarding the results of the raid on his home, and the mysterious circumstances regarding his murder. He remains one of my inspirations, however.

Let me guess some french mushroom guy with old outdated disinformation in a book over 45 years old.....thought you was gonna school everyone on growing shrooms....not just be some name dropper.....i guess your here to learn to grow mushrooms simply in the new millennium .....which makes more sense to me. So to answer the original post question im saying no them books are irrelevant and a waste of money..old and esspecially new...all the info is on the shroomery to be successful already dont cost a penny.plus where else you going to get live feedback on questions 24/ 7 365 in a matter of minutes...nowhere esspecially .not some old ass book man..... Plus i dont see why your sharing your identity thats fucking stupid...like your ego wanted everyone on here to know your some shroom bigshot....you should be learning anonymously like the rest of us.....take that approach

Well, if you're at some remote place and don't have access to the internet, a good book is never irrelevant..

Dude you need to chill. He never came in here acting like he was gonna school anybody and he shared his identity because he has nothing to hide.
Quit being a douche before you scare away a useful source of knowledge from the old days of cult.

C'mon, man. It's important to learn history. Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it, right?
Books are extremely valuable resources. I know we have a plethora of great info at our fingertips, but it's not that well organized, really. I could see having some physical references as really coming in handy.
Not to mention all the information many of us tend to gloss over around here...
And don't be so disrespectful, man. That's not necessary.

What hype? Any hype is a figment of your imagination. He also just said a few comments up that he has no intentions of selling his books to us. You don't like "non growing experts" what the hell does that even mean?
You, sir, are just a troll. Leave the poor guy alone. He is simply trying to wrap his head around the new techniques that we have all built upon his and others' old techniques. We walk on the shoulders of giants that came before us, and this man is one of/knows many of those giants. If you don't agree with his threads then don't read them

I like books. They don't get warm in your lap while you're engaged in your morning constitutional. Even if the info is old, it's not disinformation as it was correct given the level of knowledge at the time it was authored. Smart minds can make the move forward with the given technology in them by filling in the gaps themselves.

OP is not selling squat. You're acting like a douche. It's not surprising some people have you on ignore.

Paracelsus, if you're into this historical stuff, you have to read the article in Harpers by Hamiliton Morris. It came out a couple years. It's hilarious and fascinating. He basically tries to solve the Pollock murder case but runs across a lot <ahem> characters along the way It's great! He's also making it into a book, coming out soon I think.
