Long time lurker need help with confirmation Pan Sub
    #23556389 - 08/19/16 10:14 AM (7 years, 5 months ago)

Hello Shroomery! Been a lurker for over ten years and absolutely love this community! Very mature and knowledgeable. Okay to be short about this, I've read all I can and have a general understanding of pan foes. And Panaeolus cinctulus. Well what I found I know are not pan foes. They have meaty stipes with a red tinge and jet black spores. Curious if they could be anything besides Panaeolus cinctulus? Don't have but one pictures but I can get more after work if need be. Found them growing in pristine grass thats in an urban area. Hope someone can shed some light here of these are something besides Panaeolus cinctulus! Thank you guys let's hope I can upload these pictures!

looks like P. cinct. Do a spore print and make a mark with a black sharpie next to it and compare. If those have a jet black spore print like you mentioned, they are P. cinct.

I printed everyone I found and all had jet black prints. They are active just mildly so. Blew me away to find them. The hunt is the best part. Thank you for a quick response.
