im new to this and need some help please. i found these in PA ive checked my field book and cannot come up with a good ID for them. these were all found in the woods on dead rotting trees.
these were redish purple when first found and picked the stems had an instant redish bruise to them.
these were found in clusters along with other types. they have very very small gills. the stems turned a purpleish blue when picked the roots have a blusih purplish tint to it.

these were found ontop of a dead pine tree with moss all over it.

#1 is a Russula sp.
#2 is probably a Gymnopus sp.
#3 is i Mycena sp.
Other than that, please remember to always take pictures of the underside of the cap as well, and include a description.

If it's a Gymnopus, as Anglerfish suggests, no, the Gymnopus genus has no active species.
