120V SPDT relay
    #2355463 - 02/19/04 05:38 PM (13 years, 10 months ago)

I want a relay like the SPDT relays used in automotive (12V), but i want one that can be used at home voltages (120V?)....

The reason i want one of these, is to flip the output of a motion sensor, so instead of turning on the lights fro 10 mins when triggered, it turns the lights off.....

or you could just have the motion sensor turn on a switch that turns off the lights...

"A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."

A relay is basically 2 switches incorporated into one package. When the first switch is activated, it either opens or closes the circuit for the second switch.
