Well, I guess you must Condemn Hillary also for allowing Russia to become the uranium kingpin and corner 1/5th of the uranium supply.  And to think, all it cost was a cool 2.35 million in donations to the Clinton foundation.  :awesomenod:

Uranium mines barely make any money. There is very little demand for uranium ore these days.

Then why sell public land out from under us for so little? Is Hillary Clinton really so greedy that she'd betray us for such a small price? Just imagine what she'd do for a bigger price tag.

I doubt anyone sold public land. Maybe they sold rights to mine public land. It hardly matters, nobody is developing uranium mines these days. There is too much uranium from decommissioned weapons available to make mining profitable.

Semantics. They sold the underground mineral rights (of public land, mind you) to a foreign company. And you can't mine the underground without also claiming the dominion of the surface ground. The mineral mining is inaccessible otherwise. And if it "hardly matters", what with all the supposed valuable resource to be extracted from decommissioned weapons, then why make a buck off our public land in the first place? You're going out of your way to try to excuse this as another "nothing to see here, move along" event...when in reality, it's corrupt politicians (like Hillary) selling out the public trust for personal monetary and political gain.

The rights already belonged to a foreign company.

The rights that our government sold to them, without public approval, let alone knowledge of. There is a reason it's not widely publicized and most people don't even know about it. Can you imagine what that reason might be? If it's no big deal, then why do things like this happen so clandestinely and under the proverbial cover of darkness?

The rights to that mine were already owned by a Canadian company that was purchased by a Russian company. The rights transferred to that Russian company.

Why do you think it was done clandestinely? I'm sure there were public filings about the sale of the company and transfer of the rights. Just because nobody was paying attention doesn't mean it was being hidden. You know about it, so by definition it wasn't being hidden.

LOL, really?  But yea, U238 isn't really that wanted, after all it isn't fissile.

Enriching it to U235 makes if valuable. :awesomenod:

What I mean is that it gets done quietly without a lot of fanfare. It has to be done "legally" and on public record, sure. And that's why they are counting on the public at large not taking notice, or if they do, not fully understanding the ramifications of it. It's all out in plain sight, yet buried under a thick haze of confusing legal jargon. It's not too dissimilar from how Congress passes 5,000 page bills full of "piggy-back" laws that have nothing to do with the what the bill is presented to be about. Just patently deceptive and dishonest behavior. That, unfortunately, is just how these folks roll. They won't steal what they can swindle instead.

I think we've determined that Koods is voting for Hillary.  But that's ok, to each his own.  If Koods wants to support a person who earned 150 million as secretary of state by granting personal interviews to clinton foundation donors, power to him.

There's a reason Trump calls her Crooked Hillary.
