Disregard of the present moment and sheer mystery of life 1

Life is some kind of "virtual" paradise - multidimensional, co-created ... sheer, utter mystery, within which lies ecstasies and countless other things. This isn't some idealism or optimism I have. If you don't see it, I would suggest dropping your career/social circles/perhaps even routine until you do. Otherwise as McKenna said, what else have you got going? Your life is your state of mind, your quality of consciousness. How good the hamburger tastes or how interesting your personality is lies in your level of consciousness, which is determined by your commitment to understanding the Mystery. You are That but this explains nothing, the Self is without the qualities of explanation or understanding. The Mystery remains... and becomes deeper when one snaps out of the delusion of being not-Self. The Mystery is the journey into God and his question, "Who am I?"
So God is possibilities. And you find endless possibilities on your journey into the Self. The Self is discovered by no longer seeing life as a rational problem, but something directed by experience. There is no rational mystery to life, it is perfectly clear, simply remove all doubt.
Of course, once one removes all doubt, the supra-rational mystery of God appears before ones eyes and one falls into it much in the way of Alice down the rabbit hole, which is a beautiful and timeless image.
So I beseech you all,
Don't give into simplicity, to narrow-mindedness or some kind of authority over the present.
Simply drop rationality and recognise the mystery before your eyes. Strangely familiar - it is just your mind.
You may now discuss. <3

Somebody might have lots to add.
I think you are onto something with the present moment, but you lose the thread by introducing god and self into the discussion that addresses the taste of hamburger with residue of Mckenna.
Simpler is better in my opinion.

McKenna was a new age freak and so would of course push the 'you create your own reality' new age theme. Meaning that if you eat shite it tastes bad because your consciousness aint right. THAT idea is the more shte.

You sound very confused as to whether there is a mystery or not as you contradict yourself. Also ”rational mystery”, is an oxymoron. You seem desperate to save us all, and exhort us. Then you tell us us not to be rational. You seem desperate to save us all. Then you tell us to discuss. No wonder all the replies show everyone is underwhelmed.

No RATIONAL mystery,
an IRRATIONAL mystery.
A rational mystery is, "where did this rationalised world we have abstracted come from? (Big Bang etc.)
An irrational mystery is kind of insanity by any stretch of Western understanding, and all I can do is encourage open-mindedness and the possibility of higher consciousness. It involves a whole new circumstance before your eyes. Beautiful, higher dimensional perception.
