New to this whole thing and I'm fascinated

Just a couple questions for the pros here, I'm a noob

I've been successfully hunting almost everyday in a particular location and have become addicted to the actual hunt. I love finding big cubes by surprise. I like that part more than the effect of them when ingested. So thats my first question: Is that common?

Also, I've read up on the brf tek stuff and have become fascinated by how these little buggers grow. In the tutorials it seems very important to avoid contamination. This leads me to my next question, just out of curiosity: Why can cubes grow outside among the elements and from feces and not become contaminated, but you have to go through all of these steps when doing it yourself?

Next question: Could you just keep misting the cow patties that you've harvested from, and they would bare fruit?

molds don't really flourish outside in the fresh air. They prefer it indoors in our dirty houses. in basements, under beds, in damp walls, etc...

Mycelium outside in nature still competes with stuff, but fruits anyways. Just like how a jar of spawn thats gets contaminated will still fruit, but the main reason we avoid fruiting these is because doing so would up the mold count in our houses and we'd see more mold in future grows.

dont waste your time on the cow patty stuff. Start with the PF tek or grains and watch RR's videos first. Cheers and enjoy it here!
