The orange barrels looked like wooden barrels as stated above, Orange sunshine was blotter acid. I ate many of them in the early 80's, it was all my dealer sold.

Orange sunshine was actually the orange barrels. That blotter print people may call orange sunshine, but the real deal was 300ug barrels that were released in 1969.
Natureboy says my pictures looked like the real deal to him. How do the ones I have differentiate from the barrels you had? They're barrel shaped. Did yours have plywood-esque etchings on them to make them more barrel-shaped or something

I think he means they were shaped like a wine barrel or a keg where it is fatter in the middle than the top and bottom. The ones you have look more like a cylinder.

I started dropping around 1982, and there was both barrels and blotters. Orange barrels were called "orange barrels", the blotter was orange sunshine, although I am sure it is the same shit from the same producer.

Google search "orange sunshine", it was a batch of acid nick sand made in orange barrels in 1969, 300 micrograms a hit
ive had that same blotter print you posted as well, people may call it orange sunshine but its just a marketing gimmick altho i guess the original 300ug barrels could be considered a marketing thing too, but the barreks nick sand made were the original sunshine

Looks like you're right,,, gimmick or not all acid back in the day was pure and heart packed with goodness. No such thing as research chemical shit back then, I am afraid to buy acid now because you don't know what it is.

theres more good acid now than there's been in over a decade and a half. you can know exactly what you're getting because you can get your LSD lab tested easily too.

The ones I saw in the late 70's were barrel shaped (wider in the middle) like others have said. No wood grain although there may have been lines around them where the barrel rings would be....can't remember for sure. Only had them twice.

Like there were markings of miniature plywood-shapes on them, or do you just mean they were longer?
The top and bottom were smaller than the middle.

Interesting, well hopefully these cylinders get widened out in the middle to be more barrel-shaped, theyre still being tweaked out. regardless though a 300ug dose is a 300ug dose so it's cool we got these as they are even if they wind up staying this shape

In 1979 or so I got orange barrels, I think they looked like 55 gallon drums. I don't remember much about them, they were nothing special.

Spring of 1970, Easy coast. Wickedly strong orange barrels. Looked much like those, only about 2/3 that size. Fire shit.

I kind of like weak acid being sold better than strong acid. That way newbs don't freak out too much off 1 dose and then never do it again and then every time acid gets talked about they discourage everybody from trying it because they had too much, too fast. 300mics seems like a heafty dose.
Weak acid for cheaper prices. Then you can take more if you want a stronger trip

Is there a way to buy bunk microdots?
I'm just gonna leave it at that.
Idk my guy just dosed some candy for me and I'm curious if microdots are like blotter art that the average joe can buy, but only cool cats can lay. Ya dig?

you dont put lsd into microdots after making them, lsd goes into them during production

In ft wt tx we called them orange mini barrels back in the 80/90's. The first time I did LSD I was 14 (1979) and it was just plain white paper, really good though! I didn't trip again until 5 years later. I only saw the mini barrels a few times, and those pyramid gels were around too. Also some gels that looked like those mechanical pencil refills, same size as the lead refills, some of the strongest LSD I ever had. If none of you have seen this movie, get, watch it, FREAK OUT on it! I believe it was made because of the orange sunshine name. Sort of like a reefer madness for LSD, LOL!

in New York in the mid 90's there were these little tan/beige barrels going around that were being sold as mescaline but they were too small to be even a mild dose of that. i assumed they must be acid but after doing them a few times it seemed to have a different set of effects than how i felt from any acid i had ever done. anybody know what the deal was with those?
