Was with his buddies and he was messing around flying by doing wheelies he came down, got head wobble, hit a curb and was thrown off the bike into a sign post. It cut off his arm and he bleed to death. I knew it was going to happen to him sooner or later. And unfortunately it did
The only guy I've known that killed himself with a bike was just like that. Massive showoff, would wheelie past cops and then fuck off into nowhere, 150mph burnouts, etc. A legend, no doubt, but ended up similar to your pal, fucked up a wheelie and ended up breaking his back on a fence.
That's why I don't do any of that stuff. I like fast, but I know my limits. That's why I don't really ride the Fireblade on the road anymore either. Since I upgraded to a race spec engine it's just too fast off the track. Breaks every speed limit in the country in 1st.
The Duc is perfect for the roads though. Super nimble, buckets of low down torque, and a riding position that feels absolutely perfect. And it sounds like riding on a fucking thundercloud.

Thanks man!
As for my bikes, I'm facing a really hard decision right now. I might have to sell the Fireblade:

Which I said I'd never do. Me and that bike have been through SO much together. But there's a good £7,000 locked up in that machine and I might need to access it quickly. It's gonna fucking break my heart if I have to, it really is.
Shes a beaut. If you ever do decide to let her go send me a message.
Right now I am in recovery so staying clean and living life is great. Gym, Food, Women and friends keep me happy these days.

Ya this kid was the same way, weather it was with his trucks or bikes or quads or anything he always was pushing his luck but he didnt have the finese to ride like that.
Hmm a track would be very fun. Im not sure if there is any superbike tracks near me but i could see myself having a bike for the track. I always liked supermoto racing, my brother had a ktm 525sx that was set up for supermoto. Now that was a fun bike on the road! I have a dream of building a cr500 af for supermoto/street

My gf is into wood carving. I think its a pretty awesome hobbie. If I weren't so paranoid about flaying my fingers open I would try my hand at it.
Stone and mineral collecting, rock hounding, is more my thing. But there's something about crafting that is so... Enriching. the manifestation of creativity through physical labor and intense focus is priceless.
Sorry I didn't read all the posts earlier.

Yoga, meditation, martial arts , working out , listening to podcasts, watching UFC, sun bathing, Kratom and cannabis, my wife and my cat.
Exercise is definitely the most essential single thing for keeping me stable.

Friends - hanging out with a good group of friends makes me forget about my problems at work since it reminds me that all of those problems don't exist outside of work.
Music - when I get really pissed off from work I usually listen to angry music to blow off steam. Eventually I just get tired of being pissed off and forget about it all.

Regular zombie slaying excursions in the wilderness.
And making things.
Between those two I'm pretty much set most of the time.

Zombie slaying ?
Do you mean some kind of LARPing or playing pretend , or do you hunt and murder people in the woods and tell yourself they were zombies ?
Or are there real zombies where you live ?
What kinds of things do you make ?

Long hikes, bike rides, running, photography, gardening, basically anything outdoors.
Here's some information on how hiking helps your brain, make sure to click on the links to the studies which were used, some really interesting information.

Nicotine, weed, music, benzos if it's really bad. I play video games or watch shows/movies to distract myself, and sometimes I just spend a lot of time doing nothing but listening to music. I find that distracting myself with video games is highly effective, perhaps too effective if there's something that I genuinely need to be stressed about.
