Im assuming this is a monotub? But I dont see holes or polyfil
EDIT: Just checked your design and it needs at least 4 more holes. Preferably at sub height

So what youre saying is that there are 4 holes. But they are covered by your liner and substrate in such a way that it doesnt allow proper airflow?

here is how funny it looks :P

basicly i pushed and packed polly there before so the sub would be collonized with space from the hole. then now i removed the polly after seing how micropore tape was used so i thougt it would be better that way with more space from the sub and the hole.
and now the shrooms want to escape down trough the holes ^^

Haha yeah I removed all the poly from my holes for better air flow because of fuzzy feet and they grew out of the holes, that's when I started cracking the lid and turned a fan on

Wow I guess I underestimated just how lazy the viking grow really was Im assuming you already thought about drilling 4 new holes at the correct depth and jist figured fuck it? Your shrooms are choking and this seems to be giving you some sort of sick satisfaction

yeah all i had to cut new holes was a knife and fire at the time so i just thought fuk it... not giving me a sick satisfaction just currious on whats going on. okay they are choking and how would i resolve that now?
i have 3 other tubs that have correct sub hight at holes and so on so this is just my first and rushed and lazy set up. so this is how to learn from lazy mistakes :P

Maybe even remove both layers of tape. I would seriously consider new holes though

If you really dont want to drill new holes I would at least see how no tape will treat your tub first. But fire and a hot nail poke a bunch of holes in a circular fashion and then take your knife and cut between each hole? Idk man do they not have rotary drills where youre from? Hole saw may be a good investment if youre serious about this hobby.

yes a drill is already on my investment as is a food dehydrator monday i get mine sallary so then i will be getting a propper drill and a propper dryer.
when i started out i had not so manny things so i wanted to see how far i got with being abit lazy on this grow and using abit ghetto ways to "fix" things. so i can say i am more than happy to see it pooping up some nice shrooms, just how to save them from chocking... that is the lesson of today poor FAE gives huge socks of fussy feet :P
so im hoping i can show off some more effort job after this grow :P

When I made my tubs I just heated a knife with a torch. I didn't want to drill because I tend to put too much pressure and the plastic cracks. Using the hot knife might also be better because you won't have plastic shavings inside your fruiting tub and the circle you cut out usually hangs onto the tub by threads so it won't fall onto your sub surface. Just don't breath too much of the melting fumes.

Twist and pull when ready and get some prints while your at it. Just have the lid kinda of titled and off with a fan works well.
