that is again the go-to argument. thing is you don't know if it will or will not effect you to change your pursuit of pointless idiotic things like cars. (though i understand ones need for a car. but it's still a self-defeating pointless endeavor. too much time commuting is like dying twice as fast. oh well.

I only commute a couple hours a day, but I make sure to idle at least twice that long, for the plants

but there is regional cooling. in my region this summer and the last were lower than normal, we've also seen colder winters over the last several years, how exactly do you explain cooler summers when it's global warming

Yeah here in Dallas it was actually a really, really mild summer by Dallas standards.
a cooler summer and not by some 7% of 1 degree bullshit of cooler as out resident global warming alarmist is pushing

in plain words, the poles are what are getting warming effects, exponentially, and that will cause floods, but also the planet to get gradually warmer. global warming is the threat down the road. climate change is now. that's all koods is saying.

If the climate were stable, record lows and record highs would occur in roughly equal amounts. We are now seeing twice as many record highs as lows. Feel free to keep denying what is right in front of your face.
http://www.climatesignals.org/data/record-high-temps-vs-record-low-temps
Quote:
In the United States, the most recent decade (2000-2010) was the nation’s warmest on record. Record-breaking high temperatures are now outnumbering record lows by an average decadal ratio of 2:1. Record highs are occurring more often than record lows due to climate change.
In a stable climate, the ratio of new record highs to new record lows is approximately even. However in our warming climate, record highs have begun to outpace record lows, with the imbalance growing for the past three decades. This trend is one of the clearest signals of climate change that we experience directly.

we've already been through this. no one has claimed it's been record lows for summer so stop trying to be disingenuous with your playing dumb. the last few days have been pretty cool for august when we should be seeing temperatures at least 20degrees warmer. I mean I live in georgia, I actually know what our weather is like seeing as how it's a part of my every day life

here's a source for those record lows and we still havent gotten over 96F regardless of what your links claim http://www.intellicast.com/Local/History.aspx?month=7 http://www.intellicast.com/Local/History.aspx?month=8

as i've said, if the ice caps level off, the slight increase at sea level will mostly negligible. but some people will experience the odd effect of having their property flooded.
but if there is reason to believe the sea level keeps rising dramatically, then, well....

Plants cannot take advantage of increased CO2 levels without also being provided water, nitrates and phosphates in equally larger amounts.

They say global warming isn't real, then complain when the government won't provide them with flood insurance anymore. Gotta love conservatives.
