I can't tell ._. What you think?

Bruising. The better question I'd be asking tho is why is it bruising in a colonizing jar? Almost always it's from bacteria. Unless these have been left for months and started drying out, but the thick cottage cheese-looking yellowing growths say otherwise.

The person I got them from said he shakes them up pretty frequently, im guessing this is why?

Again I've shaken a lot on some jars, but they don't normally bruise unless there's bacteria or they're old and/or dry. The yellowing blobs and thick cottage cheese mycelium tho says it's bacteria. I guess you can risk it and spawn it, or if you want to just get fruits, case and top fruit out of the jars.

I would doubt it's bruising unless you rolled the jars down a flight of steps or something.

Why would that cause bruising, but shaking a healthy jar until it's crumbled, and the mycelium has almost completely receded into the grains not cause bruising? When you shake a jar and it bruises, you're dealing with bacteria. Now granted the color might make it a possibility of penicillium, but there's not that granular texture associated with penicillium that I see on every penicillium ID I've made. This is imo a BAD bacterial infection.
