Extracting mushroom spores from water?

So a while ago I harvested a monster mushroom that weighed 20 grams from a half pint cake and I made a spore print from it. With the spore print I made a spore syringe however the water I used wasn't sterilised properly and I really want to retrieve the spores to hopefully replicate it's parent mushroom but idk how. Is it possible to just leave the water to evaporate and leave the spores behind or will that damage the spores?

First of all, a spore syringe only requires a fraction (I wanna say roughly 1/10) of a decent print. So you most likely have way too many spores to your syringe, which can be detrimental. Dilution is kind of an important part of getting a good spore solution.
As far as utilizing the spore syringe now goes, if there were colonies in the water, evaporating the water off won't remove the bad colonies as well. I'd say pretty much your only option to use that syringe would be to put a drop to agar, isolate from contams, use that plate to nocc some grain, spawn and fruit the grain, and print a fruit. This will get you spores again to keep it going.

Make some pasty plates https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/19208976
In a SAB, grab your spore syringe, give it a good shake, crack the lid of your pasty plate and place a drop of spore solution on the agar
Wait for mycelium growth
Clean and isolate until you've got a nice looking culture https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/18430998/
Then once you've got a clean, healthy plate you can transfer it wherever you'd like (LI, LC, Grain, BRF Cake, etc) https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/20111637/

Start over with a new mushroom. You're not going to isolate any healthy growth from those spores now.
Take a print the proper way then make a syringe from the print. Don't wing it, follow the directions

The thing is that I wanna sure the spores I got from this monster shroom I got in hopes to replicate it and get bigger mushrooms or am I wrong about this? Do the spores determinte the size of mushrooms or is mostly the abundance of nutrients and optimal conditions? Which is more important?

Then you should have cloned it. Spores take you back to basics. Never know what you'll get with multispore (ms). It comes down to genetics and conditions.

Yea it could not matter less which mushroom you take spores from. It resets the genetics anyway. You may as well use a small mushroom so you don't have to cut the cap off your nice ones.
You would have to clone the mushroom to keep its genetics.
