What are these?

Found growing in my lawn here in zone 5b Montana. Gills are pinkish fading to dark brown with age. Caps are anywhere from 4" to 10" across. Pure white in color and smooth textured. Stipes are solid with small veil remnants 3/4 of the way up.
Spores are brown in color and very numerous. The end of the stipe was full of tiny maggots so I didn't take it inside for a print. I got a spore picture with my microscope, just wiped the gills with a fresh slide. The spores are maybe half the size of P. cubensis spores. Spore pic is at x1000 magnification.

That's what I figured. Any idea which species?

I have no intention of eating them. You've replied to what, like ten threads with no actual IDs or help?

I'm too far away to try but I like your 2nd shot and there's a nice clean scope shot as well. Also the first is kind of cool with the larvae quietly working on the stipe base.

It is pretty neat how it's already being eaten by the larvae. and thanks about the scope picture, I don't have my camera adapter yet so I kinda just positioned the camera near one of the eyepieces as best as I could.

any staining when cut? any scent coming from near the base of the stipe? you can cut off the maggot area and really mash the clean/clear stipe to get a good whiff from somewhere near the bottom.
ETA: i see now you didn't collect it.

It's still in my front lawn. None of them have any scent or staining when cut as far as I can tell. I'll go check again.

Maybe a tiny bit of a mushroomy-rotten smell coming from inside the stipe. No staining or bruising. Just white/yellow colored inside. The interior of the stipe is solid but somewhat stringy in texture.

those are all good signs for edibility in Agaricus sp. perhaps someone more knowledgeable can narrow it to species, but putting everything else together makes this a v good candidate for an edible find.

I was thinking about throwing some stipe tissue and/or spores on agar but I have to leave for a few days. I may still do it anyway.
Will update.
Edit: The stipes were swiss cheese from the maggots, so I took some gills and spores and made up two plates in my SAB. We'll see if they grow... I imagine I'll see plenty of bacteria before I see any germination though.
