i may or may not look into it. thanks for the info, however.

personally, i don't care so much, i only care in so far as i have to silence pure moronic idiocy. i know idiocy when i see it. i don't need to read the manifesto, but, the more things come along, the more i feel i need to, because jesus, this dumb shit just never ends. these people do not even know what their enemy is...they just know they need one.

you've hit a very interesting modern conundrum. "these people do not know what their enemy is...they just know they need one." well stated, perhaps "the people" should have a thread on defining the enemy AKA who is and how are all the worlds problems created? but the problem is who hold legitimacy when it comes to discussion. for some reasons academic theory is trumped by the television in that realm. People hold the TV as a legitimate portrait of reality rather than understanding that A person can own and create the images put on through that TV which can wrap us up in a tight cultural bound and leave us as consumers.
btw @ akira_akuma I have a book by Marx - Kapital, i could send it your way if youd like to give it a read.

is it the penguin edition? but meh, man, i appreciate it, but i take so long to read things bud, plus i'm usually busy reading so much other shit. it's only like 20-30 bucks per volume, or 3..., i'll get it when the time comes; it doesn't look like this conundrum is going away any time soon. but again, thanks for the offer. (the political book i want to read is "The Prize". that's still on a long long list. "Capital in the Twenty-First Century" is another one...)

@lowbrow - NO! because replacing a monarchy with a government is not communism!! that is a revolution not dissolving government. there should be NO government thats why people are saying it hasnt been tried! the people leading those revolutions have used communist rhetoric for their advantage and simply taken control saying they are going to do things for the people. get it yet?
@akira_akuma - ok! always willing to help out those seeking knowledge. I have access to academic articles as i'm a alumni of some academic institution so if there are any subject you want to search for let me know and i can get some good stuff.

the thing is i'm a bibliophile and i like books in general, but i read more like fictional literature, and philosophy and non-fiction kinda get put aside alot, because i'm quite an escapist. but i am always still researching new subjects, i have...like lists upon lists of non-fiction works to own, at one point i'll be able to have a good amount of them...polymath and shit. i don't have enough time on this planet.

Thats not to say there arent any, but it lends credence to the perception that homelessness is just a lazy adult problem.
No, it means that children are very well-protected in this society, and if a child is ever homeless, it is usually quickly reported by concerned citizens and the police and CPS get involved. Homeless children are always quickly given immediate shelter and taken away from their families, whereas adults are pretty much left on their own. So if you see homeless children begging with adults, it is almost always a scam. If they were truly homeless an agency would have intervened to do something for the child the second it was reported.
that shows how little you know

maybe i didn't mean abandoned so literally. i mean, as in, children whom their parents have given up on, ie, in which various ways one could do such, by either being abusive, or literally not caring for them, or abandoning them literally, as you inferred.

oh, so you're not actually talking about homeless kids like others of us are, you're talking about kids who are still in their parents care but not recieving an adequate amount of love

no, i am clarifying that all of the above, neglected (to the point of starvation, deprivation of light and activity, kept in filth, ect), abused (beaten, molested, verbal abuse; condemnation in certain conditions not included in this category, see product for more details), and then literally abandoned kids (ie, left in conditions in which they cannot fend for themselves, eg, outside of the home [maintaining their house has food, or else see head 1], and in conditions where they are unguarded by their parent or guardian for considerable amounts of time, eg, time in which they are considered "exposed to the elements", eg, all day and/or night).

he is not excusing anything, he is explaining; explaining to you what you do not know about the subject. he never said that one should just "buy Marx" and then 'know', somehow, a better position/viewpoint on things. did he say so?
