I have never heard of a farmer using a fungicide. No idea why they would spray a pasture. Maybe he drove through the pasture after spraying a crop?

Is there cows on the field? Did you have some crazy rain? How long after you found them to not finding any?
I've heard grain fed cows produce better, maybe he stopped feeding grain?? I've had fields with hundreds of cows and I find 5 caps, then there are fields with 20 cows where I've gotten 50 caps, I'm still trying to put this together myself! Maybe someone has a explanation?

Every year is different.
Spots move around.
The farmer isn't spraying anything that would affect mushrooms.
You need to check more fields more often.

Let me guess Florida? Cuz I know it just rained so heavy for almost a week in FL and I had this problem when I went, they seemed to be washed away and stuff, give it a couple weeks and try again. I've heard about farmers giving cows stuff so they don't grow, but I've never got it from a good source, some say cows that eat oranges don't produce. Ect... The little guys like their rain but Ive noticed heavy rain does inhibit the pin head growth.

People who get lucky once and only return to the same spots soon run dry. It's called hunting for a reason, go get em!

Oh and i also forgot to mention. It happened last year. when i was in the middle of field i would hear occasionally a loud jumping sound. Almost like a Kangaroo jumping around me or jumping away but i never seen anything. It sounded super close.I keep thinking its a Panther. I wasnt the only one that heard it but its really creepy. Should i be concerned ??
Thanks
