I'm pretty sure this is a two-color bolete, but I'm a little worried about it being the sensibilis version, which I can't find much info on (on wikipedia) besides "do not eat".
Habitat: Deciduous, found on a deciduous stump Location: Carolina Piedmont Gills: Yellow pores, instantly bruise blue, fades to brown over time Stem: Pink/yellow/red, takes some time to bruise, and doesn't bruise darkly. Yellow when cut, but wound turns green quickly. Spore print color: Green-Brown, pores turned dark green after printing. Scent: Not much.

Bump, cause I'm hungry and reliable (FDA-approved) food costs money. Which I want to not spend.

So wait is that active? Lol I've got a monster growing out side. Haha. I'm going to eat it but I did notice it bruised blue.

Not active. Not all mushrooms that bruise blue are psychoactive. There are other molecules in these mushrooms (i.e. not psilocin) that react with oxygen in the air to create blue products.

oh okay, that makes sence. sorry if I seem unlogical. I'm a student. I'm actually going to school for mycology although right now there is no difference between that and biochem at my current school.
