North Korea 'feeding workers crystal meth'

If this is true they are even more idiotic then I thought.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/08/10/north-korea-feeding-workers-crystal-meth-to-speed-up-skyscraper/
When you’re feeling a little sluggish at work, you probably grab a quick cup of coffee or tea. Maybe you pound a Red Bull. In North Korea, they’re passing out crystal meth.
According to a report from Radio Free Asia, construction crews in the capital city of Pyongyang are being worked almost 24-7 to complete their projects before the seasons change. How many projects, exactly? More than 60 in total, including a 70-story apartment building.
To get them finished on time, thousands of local residents have been pressed into service on the construction sites. Apparently their overseers are learning that forcing people to working long hours for days on end makes people tired, so they’re trying to keep productivity levels high by openly distributing speed.
And why not? Among the many side effects meth has, it can make people lose their appetite (which cuts down on annoying meal breaks) and lead to increased movement and hyperactivity. Sounds like just the thing for a construction site on a tight deadline, as long as you’re not worried about workers dealing with the blurred vision, dizziness, twitching, tremors, paranoia, and crippling diarrhea that can also accompany meth use.
But hey, when you’re trying to show the outside world that their sanctions aren’t about to put a damper on things down in your capital city you can’t let the intestinal tracts and nervous systems of a few thousands citizens get in the way. And really… what would you expect from a government that’s probably running a widespread heroin trafficking operation for the past 30-odd years?

Pretty sure meth is very socially accepted there and in other parts of Asia so this wouldn't surprise me. Certainly fucked up though.

Yeah, meth is super socially accepted in north korea from what I've read. No big surprise. Also I've heard marijuana isn't even illegal there (supposedly). They've been really isolated for an insanely long time.

I did hardcore landscape in the hottest day of the year... Me and this kid I know help me and my boss out on some jobs.. I told him about the "make or break you property" a mansion with a massive 250 feet drive way on a hill , with grass everywhere a real.... Cock sucker. The kid did mow but tapped out right after as he was trying to push the lawnmower up the evil hill. He made it about half way then crashed on the ground talking about a heat stroke , we gave him some water which seemed to help ... At one point he started crawling very slowly up the grass side of the hill. With SOE trees to provide shade... But there were sun spots which he hit periodically , moving slow it was pure hell for the kid to crawl to the shade spots in a fukcig hill loool.... Don't get me wrong I was lucky to had worked on some trees near the drive way but I had to constantly go up and down this massive driveway. We started this job at 3 o clock .. When its just the hottest part of the day... The last job of the day.. I did not feel well myself , even taking breaks which is unusual for me.... At one point I was sure I was gonna fold as well, but pushed on and finished the job ... Which lastly I had to blow everything and make piles.....

You all are crazy. That stuff is unhealthy, and anybody who does it more often than once a month is an addict imo. If you can't handle work without meth, then maybe you're job is unnatural, and you need to find something you can handle. I don't even mess with caffeine, all of that stuff is bad, but meth is worse. When you look way older than you should and your heart shits out on you, you will regret it.
