They're fine however it looks like you're growing them in a trash can lined with a bag from a convenience store

Thank you all so much for responding. There is a layer of light gray/slightly green fuzzy stuff covering all the stuff around the bottom of the larger ones and a light coating of white fuzz on the larger ones. I grew these from a kit that came with everything all set up, someone gave it to me because they were not able to use it. I followed the steps as best as I could, but the instructions were very limited that came with it. There was a CD that came with them, but it would not play in my DVD player and my laptop doesn't have a CD drive so I couldn't play it. It was pretty dark outside when I took that pic so the flash is lighting up the inside of the bag I think that's why it looks like a garbage bag. Maybe I will just pick the larger ones and the smaller ones around the sides that don't have the fuzzy stuff on them? I was just worried that if there was mold on them it could make me sick.

That doesn't sound too good, if it is green then toss it. Do you have any follow up pics?

If the larger mushrooms are white and fuzzy around the base, then it's most likely just "fuzzy feet". It happens when there is not enough FAE circulating throughout your grow chamber and the mycelium is affected by it. Either way, pics would help confirm the situation you have here.

YAY good news! A friend of a friend, who has a lot of experience with cultivation, just came by to look at them. He said they look fantastic and the fuzzy layer is normal. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me with this, I was about ready to throw the whole bag in the trash last night because it looked so weird. So glad I didn't do that! Woohoo

I don't trust your friend of a friend. You know how many hundreds of "friends of friends" we hear about that are "experienced in cultivation" and think bacterial growth and bad conditions are good signs?
Post the pics damnit. Fully colonized healthy stuff doesn't look "weird".

That last one.... Does not look healthy at all. But I'm sure there's a grander picture that shows off the worst of it better than that. Is that a gnarled mass of aborts?

OK so we picked them earlier and our friend said the stuff on the bottom was ok and he would make tea out of it. These are all the main big ones. He said the dark spots are actually blue, which is good, and not green or mold. Is that correct?

Oh thank you!!! I just ate about a quarter of one of those tops. I figured better to error on the side of caution because I don't know how strong they are.

You could trip off the most toxic nasty mushroom in the bunch, and you potentially wouldn't die for a few days if you were going to.
That substrate definitely looks weird. I'd have to assume it's enduring either low FAE conditions or has white mold intertwined. More pics would help specify, I didn't see the substrate too well in the previous ones.
