tyrannicalrex said: Then how do you explain a person with both genitalia, full or partial? In psych I learned that there is a "body dysmorphic disorder" of sexual identity and chemical imbalances in combination with that. This creates a turmoil for the subject effected. It's not as simple as a single sex organ.
Nature is showing the sides she has always been aware of, in humans. I mean, how many people just don't give a fuck and eat preservatives and hormones/etc from meat they don't care was tortured and/or raped before it got to them. (Dueling banjos in background.. but some of these people could never play banjos.)
Since clues from medical literature seem to indicate that it's more common nowadays, and with all these things they put into food that some conspiracy nuts investigate and claim they make female hormones more prevalent in a male body, it really makes one think of the state of things...
This last sentence aside, it would be ideal. Much of nature is intersexed, and not just "I did it halfway, thanks, mom and dad!.." but fully hermaphrodite, or adaptatious in almost any way. Baphomet, the Intersexed god in whom is a blueprint for acolytes and adepts to higher consciousness, is a fairly clear notion from the human psyche of what the subconscious expects us to evolve into.
Nature should be paid attention, and listened to. When something becomes life-threatening, or threatening to the continuation of the species and all the species of beautiful plant, animal, and fungii on this living sphere, one, I feel, has the right to take the knife to something to ease the pain. All else is just cheating, in many a variety.
Whatever you say/think. I have taken a physiology class in the last few years and they touched on it, (lol, no pun intended) and also in psych 101. It is very complicated. Maybe the use of all these chems in the last 20-70 years have made some impact on the physical makeup of humans, but it is recorded in history really far back in reference to people being born with both or part of genitalia from both sexes. Not to mention the hormone imbalance in conjunction with the mental part.

Transgender people have existed since prehistory and have sometimes managed to transition physically through the use of plant and animal hormones and other techniques such as castration. Probably due to their rarity or their obvious medicinal knowledge, or both, they were often regarded as esteemed healers and spiritual leaders.
The cult of Cybele the Great Mother of Scythian and Greco-Roman polytheism was administered by trans women called gallae. The cult became central to Roman polytheism in its waning days. The early Christian church saw the ritualized transition of the gallae-- a living tradition of rebirth and transfiguration-- as competition for its myth of the resurrection of Jesus. (If you're interested, you can read about this in Julian's Gods.) Therefore, the gallae were deprecated to the extreme by the early Christians, in terms that are all too familiar for trans women living in modern times. The Christian hatred of trans women is attested in the writings of Saint Augustine and has been woven into the cultural fiber of the West. That's why so many westerners think trans people are unnatural. Other cultures may not always be trans friendly but they at least don't try to erase trans people from history altogether.

Just so. I don't take anything unnatural, even medicine. Asprine is the same as heroin and every natural drug that is acetylated naturally.
I believe stuff like that occurs in small amounts in nature.
