I figured you were talking about fruiting it in the tub, as in a mono tub but maybe you're talking about putting that tub in the SGFC with the lid off or something.
I said what I think you should do 2 days ago, you have primordia, fruit it! washing away uncolonized sub is not the same with bulk, with a BRF cake inoculated at only a few points, the mycelium grows from A to B in a sense so when you have a small patch of uncolonized substrate you can wash it away and be confident the rest of the cake is colonized.

This is actually what I'm confused about if I fruit it. I would either use the monotub to fruit or take it out of the tub remove the plastic and treat it as a cake, but if I did this should I case it with verm like a cake.
If i did the mono tub I would just stuff the holes with poly fill and hope for the best. If I stuck it in a SGFC, originally I was thinking slicing the top half inch off, removing the cake out of the tub, and sticking it into my SGFC, but now if I did it this way, from what I'm gathering, is just remove it from the tub with the uncolnized part as it is a stick it in into the SGFC?

Don't remove ANYTHING... Not the bucket it's in, not a 1/2" off the top, not the uncolonized parts,nothing... Set that whole bucket thing in your SGFC and let it fruit.

Just got what you were getting at. It's actually a dub tub except I modified another tub and cut the lid where only the rim was left, flipped over and glued the tub part to rim. That way when I have the two halves together it snaps together and is more secure than a regular dub tub.
I usually have the regular lid on it when colonizing. There is way less than an inch for fruiting otherwise :P

Don't forget to drill some holes in the top tub and stuff with polyfill, you want to make sure there's adequate FAE in there
