Not sure what you have but they f do not grow on goose shit.

And no they rarely stain blue, but some variations such as those on maui at the 3200 foot elelvation on Haleakala volcano did blue.

In haystaacks the bluing can be see in the fine fluffy strands of mycelia from where they are detached fromt he hay compost heaps.

The reddish brown coloration of the stems blocks the bluing ion t he shroom.

mj They do not turn pale yellow or straw yeallow like other Psilocybes do or other Panaeolus such as the gold-capped Copelandias.

"victory caps"? -i've never heard of that nickname before, but it sounds kinda cool. You may be confusing that nickname with "Liberty Caps" or Psilocybe semilanceata.

2ndly, i don't think any mushrooms grow from goose-crap, actually i think that mushrooms would not want to grow anywhere near it. The same thing tends to happen with dog-crap and mushrooms, they don't much like that kind of crap.

And no subbs do not really stain blue but it isn't completely impossible like mjshroomer said.

I ment liberty caps, but then now oyu brought it to attention that Liberty caps are actualy Psilocybe semilanceata, they do kind alook the same. Well the type is unknown, hence why im asking for bluing info. Im just trying to find out if i should look into returning and IDing them next season.
