The reason they are so full is because they are half pint jars not pint. As far as inoculation, I’m not sure yet. Would an agar wedge work? If not I’ll do a LI.
Thanks all!

Ice cube trays are great as mushboy said. I used cupcake pans(wife likes to make cupcakes a lot). I got two, gallon bags of gw pucks.

These are my prepped LC bottles (250ml Duran/Schott). 50 ml of GW and glass shards to be thawed diluted to 250ml when needed. Polyfill lids. They take more space your pucks, but bottle is already done. Mini cupcake pans may work for my bottles - make pucks from those and slip them right through. 40ish ml per puck with those. I imagine your pucks are closer to 100ml?

Hey guys I'm looking for a reputable grower who also has access to a microscope and can take quality microscopic pictures of spores...
If you know anyone who fits the bill can you drop some names for me?

My guess is mold is meshed in that culture... How many days since you transfered that wedge to the new plate? That actually looks like straight mold to me not mycelium

It’s been about 3 days. Posted it on Bod’s Q&A as well and he said it looks about right. If it was coming from the bottom up I’d be more inclined to think it’s mold. Idk, gonna let it incubate a little longer

Could be. Just hard to tell for sure right now. PCS are very resistant to mold and bacteria. I’ve incoluted 3 plates direct from a wild print and none have shown contamination. This was from a clone so it’s a little different. I’ll give it some more time to incubate before I do anything.

I have other plates. This was one of a few transfers from a wild specimen I cloned a few days ago.

Any european cultivators here? I'm looking at "affordable" pressure canner or large pressure cooker that can do 15 PSI and hold 7 jars. I already have a really good pressure cooker that does everything very well but it can only hold 3 jars, yesterday I spent 9 hours preparing 9 jars and I think it's time for a change.
I see a lot of pressure canners on ebay and amazon, the problem is, they are all coming from US. I pay 123$ that's okay 50$ more for shipping and 36$ for VAT... Turns the whole deal a bit sour.
Where do you european cultivators buy okay pressure cookers at reasonable prices?

If you want an affordable option for a sterilizer, these are what I use, though you do have to build a controller option for ease of use
18L stainless steel dental autoclave, from china
or same one, but from within the EU
You might have to pay import charges when you import from china, and shipping will take longer.
IIRC I bought mine from a chinese company with a shipping dock in Germany, so the customer service is equally chinglish either way. I like that it's an electric unit, and with the controller I made for about 20 bucks I can run it pretty easily without much babysitting once it's up to pressure. I also like that it runs silent (aside from venting of course) and that it has a very sturdy feel to it. Gasket and vents are replaceable. Still adds up to around 210-220 for the whole thing though.
