Do you stack after pouring and what temp do you pour at?

When you pour do you let the stack sit for an hour or two in the hood before wrapping? The cause of condensation is temperature swings, and obviously you are going to have 1 big temp swing from the pour. It's generally only an issue for the top plate of the stack during pouring/cooling. When your room has big temp sings, like 10-15 degrees, it will cause it to happen at any time. And if that is unavoidable you should make a small cooler incubator for your plates to avoid temp swings.

How do you guys get condense to go away when you pour agar? It's limiting my visibility a lot.
I have started sealing the petri dishes with parafilm and it is making water condense on the top of glass. Is there any remedy? Like rubbing some hydrophobic thing on top lid before sterilizing it.
I haven't poured glass petri's before but I have a few stacks that I never used. Shit breaks into pieces if you simply look at then wrong so fragile
After I pour I keep the stacks unwrapped inside the SAB until I have made transfers. A day or two. After I'm done with that SAB session I then wrap the remaining unused dishes until next session. But usually the dishes will be inside the SAB poured and ready unwrapped until I have used them all. Never really had condensation problems this way. I pour at around 45C and pour thin so I guess they cool down faster than thicker pours. Gl

Got my first shoeboxes set up last night! Does the grain/substrate ratio look right. Using Bod’s Tek and set up one to fruit and one to colonize. Leveled out the substrate some after these pics.

Yes it’s more of a casing. Bod said no need to mix in his Tek

Woah... That oughta do it. I didn't stack them, it makes perfect sense why I had condensation now. I poured at around 65C.
Thanks man, problem fixed I guess.

You'll probably still get some condensation on the few top ones. But it's only like 2-3

Thanks Bod. I thought I read that you didn’t need to for outdoor grows. Can’t hurt to try.

This time I let my agar far more than the last time and I got no condensation, I poured at like 117 F I believe.

Anyone have experience with growing Ps. Cyanescens indoors? Have a jar that’s almost fully colonized.

I've never seen a successfull indoor grow with that species, its an annual fruiter so I don't understand how you are supposed to initiate fruiting indoors? Cubes are the weeds in fungus terms they grow on top of each other all year long for non apparent reason

How do APE spores end up in a syringe when those APE fruits don't produce spores that produce APE fruits? We all now APE fruits produce some kind of Leucistic fruits when their spores are germinated. But where do APE spores relly come from? Who can PROVE that the stuff that germinates and produces APE fruits really came from simply just one such APE fruit?
Hope everyone understand my question. I'm just curious

You could check if moricz has a thread about it, or has mentioned the species. He's good with cellar grows.
