I wasn't saying that PCing  jars or not leaving them outside contributes to climate change simply that not composting in general is a contribution to climate change. Bagging living things and letting them become anaerobic causes them to release methane, which is about 5× worse than carbon dioxide.

I have a shitty little back area that is secluded in a village dude, i was just saying that's what i do because id rather nit deal with horrible mold outbreaks

I was getting supplies at the hardware store, and when I placed an X-acto knife on top of my new PC (sitting snugly next to quart jars), an employee gave me a look. When another employee said, "Doin' some canning?," and I said, "Oh yeah," the other one had a slight smile.

This hardware store has PCs right next to dehydrators. They get it.

My local pet food store has coir and birdseed on adjacent aisles.  I think they're in on it too.

Or it's the HomeGoods isle.

Canning and dehydration, both food preservation.

I want to believe. Yeah, the Presto and the Nesco are the priciest, so they'd be close to one another. Some employee had a big fucking grin stocking these. I...I can just feel it.

PCs are supposed to be excellent for cooking fast and keeping nutrients in tact

I've still never done it though

I just had to look this up. Found a few recipes that look good. Gonna try this, but I need to
get a steamer insert for the Presto.
