Will it not dissolve in the water you bring your casing layer to field capacity with?

Idk, I filled the pot up too much and the jar tipped and fucked up the water content and ended up with this im just not sure if it will be homogenized enough

Pelletized is fine.
You want to use Gypsum (Calcium Sulphate) for calcium and sulphur, and either chalk OR hydrated lime to alter PH.

So i'm at work and didn't think to take pics before i left home today.. I have 12 jars going and most are ok.. a bit of stalling but look good. 1 i have though grew from the top down about 80% so far, but the bottom of the jar the myc goes from bright white and solid looking to a almost see through kind of watery looking myc (watery as in like watered down color, not sitting in water) not sure if that's just baby myc that is still developing or is there a contam that looks like a thinner see through myc? they are WBS jars...
Didn't want to make a whole thread without pics, figured i would ask here.

One success and one failure and I want to know why [Re: Nakoa]

OK guys I had two drastically different outcomes and want to know why. OK I started out with 2 sterile grain bags with self-healing patch, inoculated the first one with 1/2 syringe the golden teachers strain, and put the other bag in the freezer. The first bag turned out very well. two months laer I thawed the 2nd bag and changed my mind about inoculating and put it back in the freezer. I got it back out 3 months subsequent thawed it out and inoculated with the second half of the same syringe which had been refrigerated the whole time. The second bag generated no growth. No mycelium, no mold, no cultures. I inoculated with another syringe from the refrigerator of another strain and no change with months gone by. Why success the first try and no mycelium the second try?

Kinda looks like what I had set up at my old place. Here’s my new spot. Don’t have that many bags going yet because I just started back up a few weeks ago.
