I know what APE looks like, that wasn't the point. The point was that I've seen PE tubs on here throw out one flush with regular looking fruits and then the next flush, BAM, typical PE fruits.

:lmafo: Holy shit haha I had just left to the grocery store & remember that I when I made my agar today I rushed it into the pressure cooker and I left the caps on my media bottles TIGHT & forgot to cover with foil. I've been using snapple bottles with SFD's for pouring and I finally spent the money on proper media bottles and almost blow them up a week after getting them. :laugh2: Fortunately when I got home & it was cool enough to open they were still tight, & in one piece. Coool now I can continue as planned
:derp:

Can't APE, like PE, throw out a regular looking flush on occasion? I mean, if it happens with PE, why not with APE..? Or is APE only transferred through clones?

Just wondering if it is possible to get full flushes of albinos from ms in 2 seperate bags? Surely I didn't end up with a monoculture after 4 transfers... Kinda odd to me... I don't know if the fact my bags set fully colonized for 3 weeks before I could get to spawning them had anything to do with it? going on the 2nd flush and will try printing more caps this time...harvested 2 caps from each bag on the previous flush to print them, and not nothing visible with the naked eye was deposited after 24hrs...

If your agar recipe contains yeast, it might not be a good idea to let it sit in sealed bottles overnight before running it through the PC.

I would reword this question. I don't get it...

what albinos are they? Ape doesn't drop spores.

Variety matters little.  Any true albino mutation deposits clear spores.

So APE DOES drop spores, you just don't see em?

I mentioned them the other day they're lgt...but the only thing I could see was where condersation built up under the caps....even after letting them dry there was nothing...I guess I need to break out the microscope next time....but I cloned one just to run it to be 100% sure

Lgt isn't albino. It's probably just stubborn. May need to swab them.
I only asked what variety because ape won't drop them.

It is possible that albino mutation can came from LGT variety just like it's possible that albino mutation can come from any variety.  Left field is right.  He'll need to bust the scope out for assurance, and was wise to clone the anomoly.

I've had that happening as well, so I'm very curious as to what it's gonna be. Also albino's btw. Peru variety, a clone that came from a non-albino fruit.

I'll be printing at least 5 from each bag once the 2nd flush comes in...then I can check for sure...Ham would clear spores be visible under the scope or would I need to dye them or somethin?

You could also try hanging a cap in a jar that has a thin agar layer on the bottom. Hang it in 24h, take it back out, wait a week, and voila. Or not.

Okay, I was confused. I didn't realize he thought he had found an albino mutation. He was, just saying albino and I take that with a grain of salt

I'm not doubting you. Ita just that you were talking about albinos and I assumed you meant an already well established albino. My bad
