Lol I had thought about that but Iโve only taken prints after the entire fruit was harvested. Wasnโt sure if there was a negative effect of leaving just a stem unharvested.

I tighten the lid down before boiling, never heard of doing it the other way around. Maybe the cold lid on a warm pot is causing the issue, although I think you would visibly be able to see where you are losing water.

I knocked these dishes up with spore solution like 2 weeks ago, the bacteria developed first and I was going to dump them then I figured why not at least observe and try to learn from my obvious mistakes. Then about 2 days ago I noticed what looked like myc growing from exactly where I placed to drop of spore. It's important to note that the bacteria has not grown in about a week. My hypothesis is that the spores just sat dormant until the bacteria exhausted its food supply. The myc is still growing. Also, I am aware that these dishes are not being kept in sterile conditions. This is cause they were already contaminated so I wasn't going to be using them for cloning or such (unless you guys think I could get a clean sample). I just find it very interesting that the myc was able to overcome and outcompete the bacteria. Also if this is cobweb mold or something then oh well lol.

You don't even want to know the prices of apartments around where I live even further away from the city. You'd probably choke on your food. A two bedroom here is minimum $1700.

You get what you pay for. 2 bedrooms can be had in the city here for 700-800. Drive 15 mins down the highway where I live and you wonโt find an apartment for less than 1000. Still in the county, off the same highway that runs through downtown. Weโre moving next week to what you just quoted, and I feel like itโs a good deal
The market is fucked indeed. If my girlfriend gets serious maybe we can just expedite our marriage in plans of getting into a house asap because I hate giving money away (renting)

I'm attempting to revive an old lc. Should I make a divot and squirt a drop or swipe it with a sterile swab?

Damn! I tired of waiting. According to my first grow 2 years ago it took 8 days for my tray to show first pins. It 8th day now with my new trays. I haven't saw any pins today morning, only tiny knots. I really hope to see pins on this evening. I do fanning, misting, 6500k light about 14/10, 84F during day, 77F on night.

At 75F i would turn the air conditioning on. 68-72F is good for cubes
Your lucky to see knots in 8 days. Pinning that quick is usually because of slight bacterial contamination or a really good culture.

ive noticed my 'fastest' pinning tubs also contaminated really quickly. a good sub pins in 12-14 days for me like clockwork.
anything at 8 or 9days would worry me unless the substrate is really small.
