I just bought 10 packs. I'm going to have cir for months now. It looks like it's back ordered till the 16th. It was 4.29 a brick plus I bought enough for free 2 day shipping. That's fucking insane.
Juat found 50 lbs of shredded straw for 10 bucks...sucks this shit sets off my allergies
Shit. You too. I worked with straw for the first time recently with this wild oyster clone and I was allergic as fuck. Plus a bunch of little wheat plants grew in the straw because I lme pasteurized it. Straw is nasty shit to work with.
But yeah I was wondering. I didn't think of it till now. All of my bins were already pinning before I set the Martha up. When do people usually open their shoe boxes up in their Martha to fruit? I was thinking as soon as it's colonized.

I first inoculated with spore syringe of golden teacher on rye prepared with gypsum and brought to a ph of 7.0 , stored at 86..which I've learned is slightly high so turning down to 84.5 today..it took ten days and all my jars where colonized..i now have 21 and seven more cookin..i took four of them five days after being fully colonized and cased them in the tubs shown, I still have to cover them to stop side pins etc..one tub I used a 5050 mix of verm and that potting soil..pasterized accordingly with a 7.1..7.2 ph and then i cased it at 1/4 of a inch on bottom then ,1 inch of grain..then 1\4 of casing. 1 inch of grain and the final 1/4 inch of casing.later I added 4 more cups of verm to the mix because the casing on the one kinda dried out and wanted to see how it would turn out for tub 2., also..the tub actually only measured to a depth of 2 and 3/4. I'm pretty sure I need 3 inched for these guys so I kinda went slightly higher than The container The second one I decided to not put casing on the bottom just to sort out all the opinions I had read on that particular topic..they have been in 95-98 humidity range..the water droplets scare me for some reason .. and held at 75.. 76 degrees for about ten days just lookin for some feedback on everything..id like to put pearlite on the bottom to see if that would help with humidity because this is just a big utility cabinet on its side on top of a shelf modified like crazy ..its going to hold alot..18 tubs to be exact with space in between for air flow...i also think I need to move the fogger inlet down towards the first shelf below..the bottom....also i think there's a lot of of myc piss from the high temp during colonization...stressin them out a little and a little from possibly fighting tams Need some feedba k guys

Looks like a setup made by someone who thinks they know what mushrooms want but hasn't ever grown one.
Do some research there's ways to get more than a half pound out of a plastic tub with basically 0 effort or maintenance.

For any Canadians on here, the Home Hardware 'Millennium Soils' coir can be gotten from them for $3.50 a brick if you buy cases. It takes a bit of haggling but once you have a price its set.I use lots of it and its been good to me. You can also order directly from the company.

3 days ago I've split small (300 ml) grain jar with Golden Teacher between 6 same size jars and they looks like 60% colonized now. I've shaked 'em well. If this will going the same way I'll start fruit 'em in a week!

WOW! that was crazy. oh man. didn't think i'd loose control like that. talk about being fucked up. jesus christ! oh man. good times. glad i made it back. yea... I imagine my exp was like most of yours? i went a bit insane. laughing fits, talking to myself in a dramatic creepy way and just feeling like some kind of deranged mortal creature. dying in a poor mans decadence. watching life's seasons come and go. i kept thinking about beautiful black and white images, spiders, snakes, and the dark. i loved hearing myself talk to myself. that laying in a dark room thing was amazing. i tried getting back on my computer but for the life of me i could not bring myself to type in one important character of my password. i just kept staring at the key and i didn't know why i was staring at it. while i was up walking around i did nothing, but give myself tasks. get water, find mouse, find glasses, sit down, i was much better off staying in bed. didnt want to play a video game, but i should have. being in bed allowed me to focus a bit. vids may have done the same if they were easy. GTAV, or Skyrim would/should have been my choice

Sounds like you had a blast, it's definitely easy to lose control on shrooms, but threshold doses can be fun too.
Tripping and video games can be fun, but also really hard to comprehend on high doses at times. I recommend trying something creative; draw, paint, play an instrument, get into flow arts...whatever you want or get outside, run around and be weird, just make sure there aren't an people around, and bring a friend if you plan on not being home.
