The spout of my bottle has a snap-on lid that by default rests loosely on the spout when it's not closed tight, so I use my index finger to hold the lid of the spout while I pour and when I take the finger off the lid covers the spout again.
Fuck I actually have a vid, but it's secret, yet.

I might buy a few more media bottles and mod the lids for GE so I can use them for LC. I hate pouring LC from a wide mouth qt, I can just picture shit falling into that gaping hole.

Right, media bottles should be awesome too. I only have regular mouth and I feel what you say too, wide mouths should be even worse. If I didn't have the blender bottle I'd probably do lots of smaller LC's (enough to noc 4 grains jars for instance) in little glass bottles with metal screw-tops. Media bottles are kinda expensive.

Mush, you unscrew a little the unmodded lids for the pc cycle? Well I know you do, but maybe some people don't know that if you don't unscrew the lid a little during the cycle the jar will create a vacuum, like if you were to do an LC in a mason jar with unmodded metal lid (rubber side down). Then you go open the bitch in the SAB and it will suck up lots of air from the SAB, sure fire way to fuck it up.

Double post.
Can you PC malt agar twice for 20 minutes each time.
I'm not using it for transfers just want to see tams grow.

If you're re-pc'ing agar with mold in it, then no, don't do it, the agar will not set properly after the second cycle. If it's just a tiny bit of bacteria I don't see why not.

Hello, all. Hoping to get some feedback. 66gallon monotub in fruiting. Day 2 I got 3 pins in the corner. Today is day 3. I'm checking with folks about the surface moister which looks like this My polyfill is tight on the bottom but limited water droplets are on the side walls and loose up top, but again very little condensation on the walls . Just an idea of the amount of polyfill is in the top here . From the picture you can see the surface has water on top of the mycelium, but I'm not sure if the water is being absorbed and there is adequate FAE. A large fan is in the room also. Thanks for looking and chiming in!

I mean they are all clean
I just don't wanna PC it again and kill anything that would encourage mold or bacteria too grow(nutes). I'm too lazy to mix up agar now
My worry is caramelizing the malt.
I don't want too troubleshoot shit with something that won't go bad.

That looks bacterial enough to not want that much surface moisture. If it looked a little better I'd say that's perfect though. I would let that tub dry out a bit, it may help the myc overcome the mats it has from the bacteria

I can't get caramelization with LME at 15 psi no matter what. I know some people don't recommend pc'ing LME for too long because it can caramelize but I pc'd MEA for more than one hour once at 15 psi and the plates ended up perfect. On the other hand, PC LME for 20 min at 20 psi and you get a ruined batch.
