Yes. I don't want to spread them around outside. I was just curious if they could grow inside. I have seen people culturing them but no photos of indoor grows.

Just thought I should share this about particles and size, it´s good to have a general idea when one is constructing and experimenting with GE, FAE or filters.

Is it possible to have one journal public but the others private? Or do I have to make all of the journal either public or private? Let me make clear that I refer to complete journals that i have created and that are private, I f I want one of the posts in the journal to go from private to public I can do that myself? Or do I need to contact mods to make the private post buplic?
I don´t plan on making anything public yet but maybe soon I want to make some of my stuff in the journal public cause others may benefit from the information I gather. How does this work anyone that´s savvy with journals?

When you make or edit the first post there is a drop down with options, you want: only owner can post. Journals require a login to view, so essentially it's only public to users, who are logged in.

So I recently had a mono infected with mycogone, after some researching it seems like the general consensus is primordial becoming infected beneath the casing layer. However for this tub I did a psuedo casing with CVG and fruited at spawn. It seemed like the “casing” was near 100% colonization when I started to notice the mycogone. Anyone have some ideas on how to prevent this in the future, I’ve never ran into this in my tubs before

Sounds like a spawn issue..Maybe it's riding on your myc...I'd go back to my plates and be cut throat about trashing any that are not perfect circles and/or have any irregular anything.

Yea I thought spawn might have been the issue but seemed like it was more related to casing than spawn. All my projects are on hold till after the holidays so maybe I’ll go back to spores instead of the current plates I have. Here is the plate I used for the tub in question

Are you 100% sure ute Mycogone? What would happen if you make one tub with casing and the other without? Do you think mycogone germinated on the casing layer or in the bulk substrate? Seems very unlikely

Those rings tell me something is up. You shouldn't ever see that with a clean cube culture

You can do whatever you want with your journals. There's more buttons and options for them than posting in the forum.

Yea 100% sure it’s Mycogone I’ll post a pic when I get home tonight

I’ve had plenty of success with culture that show rings so I’ve never thought about it, the plates I used were left over high nutrient plates I had used to germ some stubborn spores so I just figured that had played a part in it. Either way I’ll hit the spores once my family is gone after the holidays.

That plate doesn't have any concerning looking rings imo
