Nothing to be embarrassed about if it's beyond your control. I've been having issues with my BLI not getting enough myc to each jar. I'll need to shake it more or use less liquid next time.
TBC,
You'll get mixed opinions. Personally for me 3 weeks is way too long, but if you search around, you'll find people saying they've used them fine after that. As far as PCing again, I might be afraid the moisture content would get a bit fucked. But I don't have experience with it. Let us know how it works out if you use it!

Mine is the microwavable one, I have microwaved both parts plenty of times to dry them. They are quite solid and very sturdy, however they could screw tighter.
Example here.

I am unsure of its too wet or too dry. It's been cold so I haven't been getting,as,much evaporation as I'm used to.. I think that's the problem... But how is it drier at the bottom... Idk, it's pretty dry here

If the air is dry you'll be getting more evaporation. Even if it's cold (to an extent). You just need little beads of water covering at all times. If you want get a cheap humidifier your body will appreciate it. As well.

I've tried looking up threads about this. When a jar is showing metabolites, is it a goner? Should I see it in agar and inoculated jars? Should I never see it?

You can plug it with a self healing injection port and a glove with magnets inside between pours. Or not some pour with no cap on their LC or grain jars.

It's no good to spawn but it might still fruit if it's a solid colony. A healthy colony will never show Metabolites

Indeed, you will need another hole or a removable filter plug setup. Remove to inoculate in a SAB, other, then push it back in.
Or make a dual plug, 1/2 filter 1/2 injection pot.

Honestly fuck a filter. Ship that bitch and inoculate with the "biopsy method" there will be plenty of o2 in there. When you use it pull the ship plug and pour

Bag? I think we are on different pages my friend. I was talking about JHOVA's jar lid

Nvm, I was thinking about larger scale versions. As you said it's enough O2 for the size.

Yeah like tryptkaloids said it's not really good for spawn, but I've seen some impressive grows from bacterial spawn (metabolites are usually a response to bacteria). The reason people say don't spawn it is because of the higher risk of nasty contams so unless you're riding on that spawn alone I'd throw a layer of coir/verm on it and fruit it in vitro.
I've got a couple tubs from knowingly bacterial spawn that are damn near colonized but it's my last time growing cubes so I'm not worried about contaminating my grow area. It's gonna be a minute before I do anything besides truffles.
