Yeah, if you have enough ambient rh, they want open-air...if your climate is dry, mist the fuck out of them or run them in a gh, but they want lots of FAE to fully mature and open nicely. Tubs don't work great for tamps...at least, I haven't dialed tubs in yet for them...sgfc's would prolly work well. I'm getting ready to run some more in the greenhouse with zero tub time...

@TBC- Don't waste your time with that thing. That is meant for making small positive pressure sterile rooms. It has an axial fan that I doubt is strong enough to get you the 100fpm that you need through a 1" resistance filter.
Look on craigslist for a squirrel cage blower or furnace fan. I got mine for 30 dollars, cleaned it up, and now it works perfectly.

Make sure you break those grains up well. Ive been in the middle of g2g and a big chunk fall out and made a mess. Wouldnt have happened if i shook it one extra time..
Meh, you can break that up in the receiving jar as well. Anyway, a few tips for G2G:
- Don't overcrowd your SAB. In mine, the most I'll put in there is usually 5 quarts with 1 pint master. It's not a big deal to go in and out of the SAB if you wipe your hands each time.
- Practice outside of it. Make sure you're comfortable holding the master lid and the receiving lid in your hand at once. It takes a bit.
- I personally wipe the jars down right before putting them inside so I don't bring in anything from the outside. I'll skip this if they go straight from PC to SAB.
- After the jars get a secondary wipe inside the SAB, I lay my paper towel across the tops of them (one paper towel half covers about 3 lids, IME).
- Go slow, but use deliberate, purposeful movements.
- Try and twist the master jar when you can. I feel it's more controlled than shaking the jar.
I'm going to post a G2G video soon enough.
I posted a video a while back for someone asking for a g2g video featuring transcendinglife. I think it was trypt that brought up it was a poor demonstration.
If so what would you change in the depicted g2g video procedure?

the bottom of the lid is sterile. the tops are not. he put that sterile lid side onto the non sterile lid thus contaminating it. THEN he put the dirty non sterile lid back on his grain jar. also he thouches the rims of the jars together occasionally. other than that it looks good

Tubs a coming, one's 4 days in after spawning. What would be the purpose then? Couldn't grow it out before but now I can.

Seems they are quite hardier than cubes. Stems ended up with a consistency of straw when dried. That tin was a rescue-tek partial pint in a soggy peat substrate lol.

It's not a stabilization, ain't nobody got time for that. It's simpler than that, got an APE swab ages ago, put it to agar, grew it out on pf tek pucks and bam! It wasn't APE, but a cross of some sort. Some fruits looked like phat ass weird shrooms with the caps bruising heavily and some of them were leicistic fruits that shared some traits with APE. I cloned the leucistic ones, 3 clones in total, but only one gives me leucistic fruits consistently, the others arw lotta fun though, you'll see.
I have to make a thread some day with some conclusions I've drawn from this apparent mutation/cross. Not sure if it's a cross though, some weird shit is going on. I've been observing a trend on the boards, I'm not the only one whose APE swabs gave them different looking shrooms.
The last APE swab I received from Nate did the same. Got an agar plate with regular looking APE and then another with weird looking cubes, not albino at all, both plates coming from the same culture...
Beats me.

I have WBS images, I also have some rye images. I recently cleaned out my images for space.
This King oyster on budgie seed, the fruiting had issues with higher temperature's.

No metabolites, slime, molds or smells, just nice clean growth.

It's an alternative for hob cooking before pressure cooking.
