8 of these jars total were spawned, all looked the same. This is how two mini tubs look like

And this is how one larger tub and 6 trays look like

What's up with these cultures? I honestly don't know what is what this is first time with grain to bulk
what's up is they are bacterial as fuck. I wouldn't spawn that in a million years

Bacterial subs still can produce. I don't throw shit out unless it turns colours. Seems wasteful to toss something that really isn't that big if an issue.

That what I thought, everything Smells shroomier than a mofo, I'd be surprised if it did produce any fruits at all. Next time I'll make it better

I've spawned grain that looked cleaner than that without fruits IF I were to spawn that it would be to verm only. but if it were me I would have top fruited it. a waste to me is using bulk sub on less than Ideal spawn

this cake has full blown pins on the other side, yet this side hasn't stalled. it seems to still be trying to consume this last little bit of BRF. has anyone ever seen anything like this? should I birth and do some surgery or let it be and see what comes of it?

Cubensis var. Burma, WL-Tek @ 2.4% nitrogen, pH 7.2-7.5, sugar peg + sugar drop:
As slow as oysters on 100% cellulose, I also blame the higher nitrogen.
----
Cubensis var. Burma, WL-Tek @ 1.2% nitrogen, pH 6.5, compost, no sugar: Trialing dry spores without using any sugars, just peat compost.
I can add sugar to the peg at a later date, if needed.

coffee might be a little safer to use for acidity than Vinegar

Out of the question, contains starch-sugar, and will cause both contamination and false results in this case.
Thanks though. I'll stick with compost for now, as it's not in vitro for cubensis.

Hey guys I just put a shoebox in my sgfc a few days ago I was having issues with the B+ cakes I have had them in for awhile along with some PESA cakes and the PESA is on the second flush and the others haven't put out a single fruit just a few pins that abort soon after. My question is should I leave it in the shoebox as is an put that in the SGFC? (that's what I did) but I was thinking that maybe I should take it out of the shoebox and put it on foil with some verm on the foil. Thanks guys you all have helped so much

at this point I would say toss anything that has thrown aborts. I am confused about your question because of the wording Quote:

Sorry should I take the sub out of the shoebox and sit it on foil in the SGFC?

I'm so pissed off right now. just video'd my SAB sesh for critique and when I got done watching it I wasn't thinking and I canceled instead of did the upload. and since it was on the browser and it never made it to the site it was never saved.. that blows. I guess it'll have to wait until these grow out... fuck me...

depends. how tall is the shoebox? how much space is in between the top of it and the lid of the SGFC? has this sub never put out anything? how old is it?

Well I was fruiting it in open air and that was on the 11th and it has plenty of clearance in the SGFC I was just wondering if it would be better to have the sub on foil in the SGFC instead of inside the shoebox inside the SGFC

Hey Mateah. Keep an eye on that fluffy bin for amber drops and pitting. Looks like the beginning of mycogone but can't be sure. Also keep an eye out for a musty smell like an old basement.

you still have plenty of time if it was spawned on the 11th
