No. The worm castings will turn into a huge muddy mess if you add too much (which is easy to do). I'm sure you can fruit with just verm and a small amount of pasteurized castings, although not optimal. Verm has trace nutrients and cubes like anything, so fuck it. Although I'd order some coir online ASAP, though.

I'm sorry, I have mentioned previously (most likely lost in all the great community data), I have ADHD, and prefer the online "up-to-date" method. Shroomery, and other forums are the best sources of "current" data, sorry if I post many times. I have issues with reading books.
> I have whats known as hyper-focus, and the want to share knowledge learned, and fully self teaching. > I can find patterns in posts, and online data, and in topic relevant data (interesting).
I like to learn the "how" and "why" mycelium grow, and apply what I learn.

I'm probably gonna make a drive out of town for some bc I have 2 spawn jars and the pins are getting big on one. Would pinning create an issue at all with my spawn jars?

Well here is an easy comparison:
Substrate recipe:
> 85g Boiling Hot Water, 25g Paper Pellets, 2g MG, 0.25g YN. > Sturdy microwave container, I'm using a micro PC.
----
[Sample A]: Tarragon oyster (lignicolous), small tissue and paper sample (no need to germinate), two weeks to accumulate enough resources, to be "weak". [Sample B]: Cubensis, from dry spores, sugar (sucrose) assisted to provide soluble starter resources, and improve growth and speed.
Both samples where assembled onto the same substrate, at roughly 2.4% nitrogen, approximately 20:1 carbon-nitrogen. The "soluble" additives also provide other needed essential macro-micro nutrients, but no carbon source.
Both samples where assembled in fully exposed conditions, with [Sample A] having a film lid. The film lid has added holes, and no filters, it is covered with dust and debris.
Neither sample has produced any visible signs of third party decay.
Images: [Sample A]:

Images: [Sample B]:

----
The products being used are intended to be added to "carbon" rich materials. Which is why "plant food" is not a food, but however an additive.
MG - Soil, adds no carbon to the end media. YN - Beer making, adds trace carbon.
----
Carbon controlled medias are 100% possible at home.
----
Pricing, UK:
Substrate: 420g Kettle Water, 125g Paper Pellets, 10g MG, 1.25g YN. [20p]. Small: 85g Kettle Water, 25g Paper Pellets, 2g MG, 0.25g YN. [4p].
Peg: 100g Kettle Water, 4.8g Sucrose, 1 x Wooden Peg. [4p].
----

----
You can also use 0.1g MG , the tip of a spoon handle for YN, to 100g water. Then you can tinker with various carbon sources for testing.
Either as a liquid culture or as agar.
----
Enjoy!, Ferather.

I doubt it will pass and if it does I'm good where I'm at. Too many people think they can handle their shit and can't, imagine how many dumb asses would try to take heroic doses in public because it's legal? That's just a good way to see a bunch of psychotic breaks. Not to mention the sickening taste the words "magic mushroom industry" leave in my mouth, it's a sacrament not a party drug.
I'm all for decriminalization though, we should be aloud to ingest whatever we want and grow anything we want. Criminal prosecution for something that comes from the Earth is ridiculous.

Making the first transfer of MS syringe on MEA. So far I've discovered what penicillum looks like from one plate and have spotted another contamination on one of the pictured plates. I guess I am looking for confirmation that the cuts I made from these pictured plates is actually mycelium. The 3 pictures are of 3 plates, where I made 6 total cuts. Thank you cultivators!

Dont cut into it when taking xfers, take from the cleanest most organized leading edge, the myc actually goes past what you can see with the naked eye.

Couldn't agree more! They should be decriminalized and used by psychiatrists to work some magic
Canada's legal structure began with English Common Law, which you cannot be the victim and the perp of the same 'crime'.
As long as you have medical insurance, they can't pull the BS argument about the potential health risks, and by proxy, cost to gov't by ignoring their criminal code.

Try living in Sweden guys and see how you like the law over there. One time I was on a night out and and got a bit too drunk (I didn't do anything I was just stumbling about) and the cops bring me to the station and put me in a cell for 12h until I sober up. When I wake up they take me to a interrigation room to explain to me that they will take my drivers license next time they see me drunk in the city.
I didn't drive that night of course so I asked them why the fuck are you gonna take my driving license for? They responded that I'm not responsible enough to have a drivers license cause I was too drunk one night out..... Think about that for a sec...

Are yourselfs with knowledge of law to combat these demons.

They got guns in Sweden, and Norway only recently started with guns for all cops, before that only the command patrol cars had guns in a safe somewhere in the car, so they could use guns if they needed to. Yeah, those days where police don't carry guns are over

LemurLemur, thank you for the tip! I don't think I have read anything about that technique, so if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have know to do that. Thank you. So to clarify, it is important to cut from B2 to A1? And not cut in to C3?

And you're right my plate does look like a portobello!
