Well I spawned with brf so it's impossible to tell if it's a bit of brf recovering or my sub, I'm just testing the waters with bulk and I didn't want my brf sitting around getting funky. Spawn ratio was 1:2 coir/verm

It is simple. Add you popcorn to your pc. Add enough water to double the level of the popcorn. Bring it to a boil and then put your lid on and pc at 15 psi for 45 minutes. Once the pressure drops, take lid off and stir. Put lid back on and let sit until pressure drops again. At this point, popcorn should be well above water level. Strain until all kernals are dry on the outside, then load up in jars or bags for sterilization.
Do not over cook, they will turn into a starchy mess. Alao, let the popcorn dry properly pr else that will turn into a starchy mess. I do add a small handful of gypsum before I hydrate the popcorn but that is optional.

So once I let the pressure drop and stir I put the lid back on an reheat the pressure cooker? If so how long do I pressure cook them the 2nd time? Thanks

No. Do not reheat. When you put the lid back on, the pressure will rise back up on its own.

7.5 days to random mold infection, some growth from my dry spores.
No visible bacteria-yeast, but still a moldy throw away.

Some data I found in regards to microwaves, they are not perfect, however some positive info:
"Microwaves are as effective as conductive heating in killing B. subtilis spores, but the microwave E-field induces changes in the structural and/or molecular components of spores that differ from those attributable only to heat." -- Source
"The effects of this form of thermal excitation were studied in terms of morphological changes (light and electron microscopy) and also release of constituents (DNA and calcium ions) from the core of the spore. Spores which are highly resistant to conventional heating such as autoclaving were fragmented by microwaves, albeit only at a greater intensity than was required for spores of mesophilic species." -- Source
"..bacterial endospores, which contain almost no water, are not destroyed by microwaves." -- Source (endospores must be hydrated, that doesn't mean it can't be HOT!)
----
General endospore data:
It takes 8-10 hours, for example, B. cereus to multiply by 1 million, that's a lot more endospores. Also, it takes 8-10 hours to make a new endospore using 1 cell, how many will vary.

Accidentally forgot I was boiling oats. Left on high with the lid on for 45+ minutes. The whole kitchen has 2 foot visibility from all the steam.
They still look great a few burst ones. Fucking oats... I swear they're impossible to fuck up

Another time i did the same shit but used the presto to boil and had the lid on with the weight. I only noticed because the weight on the lid started to go crazy and i heard it from downstairs. And even that batch worked

I would like to start a debate and opinions about preparing grains and bacteria-yeast (excluding air infections).
Grain preparation, with 24 hour pause:
Scenario A: 100g of dry rice + XXXg water, hob cooked for 20 minutes, water left, but its usually strained. Scenario B: 100g of dry rice + 400g room temp water, left for 20 minutes, lots of water left.
Question 1: I assemble both into jars, including any water, and leave for 24 hours, which contaminates the fastest in that time?
After preparation, and to sterilize:
Scenario C: 100g of hydrated rice, hob cooked for 20 minutes, water left, but its usually strained. Scenario D: 100g of hydrated rice, PC cooked for 20 minutes, little-no water left.
Question 2: I assemble both into jars, including any water, and leave for 10 days, which contaminates the fastest in that time?
Alternative comparison:
Scenario E: 100g of hydrated rice, microwave PC for 20 minutes, water left, but its usually strained. Scenario F: 100g of hydrated rice, hob cooked for 20 minutes, water left, but its usually strained. Scenario G: 100g of hydrated rice, PC cooked for 20 minutes, little-no water left.
Question 3: I assemble both into jars, including any water, and leave for 10 days, which contaminates the fastest in that time?
Question 4: What would be the best method to hydrate my grain?
----
Edit:
Question 5: Would now nutrient water, saturation and potential drowning cause endospore producing stress?

I've gotten these orange looking spots on some of my pasty plates. I'm assuming they're contams, but what are they exactly and what do I need to do to fix it?

I get full colonization in ~3 days with ~2 quarts grated BRF (4-6 BRF cakes) and 2 quarts CVG. Speed depends mostly on the spawn ratio and number of spawn inoculation points.

Well we shall see how my mini goes. I spawned at 1:2 instead of 1:1 like you do but this shit is super aggressive so I might have similar results. I also just crumbled rather than grated so I don't have as many inoculation points.

No casing layer but here's a link so you can follow progress. When did you spawn? I spawned on the third. What variety are you using, mine is purple mystic and so far I'm in love with them even though they look weird on agar (myc resembles pics of liberty cap myc I've seen).
It would be cool as fuck to do side by side grows particularly using isolates to see how geographical locations impact fruiting. I use to live in the Ohio river valley so I know first hand how different my area can be (the Ozarks). It's less humid but the winters tend to be nastier and the weather is super unpredictable, I've even watched entire storm fronts move around us.

I used eatyualive's lazy mofo bag tek ( I think it was him) anyway I put 4 sterile but un colonized jars and 1 colonized jar of brf into a ziplock on the 29th I did 2 bags of B+ and 1 pesa and the 2 B+ are ready I did the pesa a couple days later so it isn't ready. But I am planning to put them into a 6qt shoebox I just wasn't sure if I should case it I have coir an verm this is my first try at bulk
