I would transfer and then transfer 3 more times to make sure its fine
And obviously do that transfer last in the batch to not contaminate you sab

Well its pretty simple honestly i bought a 24x24x11.5" for 65$ the only thing is the shipping some people charge a butt load ... any way find out how many microns before buying, mine was 1.4"wg at 2000cfm so find the specs of the filter then decide if you are going to buy a blower for 200, or if you are going to get one for free like i did... then find out specs on that blower mine was a swamp cooler blower i think so it was like 5000cfm all i did was build the plenum 24"for the sides 25" for the top and bottom and 24" long ... cut the hole for the fan then put it all together and all i did to bog the motor down was use a plastic non clear tub and kept cutting a hole just a little bigger till my lighter was a 65° flame i literally built my hood for 125$ and ive done 100's of transfers if not 1000's with no issue feom the hood

Quick question about elevating agar plates in pressure cooker
So I have a 23 quart, therefore I require a certain amount of water to not burn the thing, which means my plates have to be pretty elevated. Last time I balled up aluminum foil, but that's wasteful.
Can I put empty quart jars on their side on the bottom safely? Should they have water in them? Sealed completely or open? I just want something to put the pressure cooker tray onto
On a similar note, is it fine to use a plate if they still have condensation in the corners? Ideally I would like to do some cloning later tonight once they are cool enough.

Should the quart jars just be empty? Do they need a lid?

Weigh down your rocker with some coins and it will lose less water so u don't have to fill it as much. I just put some quarters inside a ball of foil and attach it to the top of the rocker with more foil.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/AAF-Astrocel-1-NUCLEAR-GRADE-Clean-Room-24x24x11-5-HEPA-Air-Filter-1000-CFM-/141809692064?hash=item2104842da0:g:x5oAAOSwwE5WaIsl#ht_1411wt_1025 Hopefully soon I will be in the breeze.
You're gonna need a hell of a blower and a huge plenum for that thing being a foot thick. I ordered a filter from fungi perfecti for my hood, but I was thinking about building an air scrubber using one of those cheaper eBay hepas.

What kinda deal can you get on a filter like that? I really want to build a negative air machine for my spawn room with a filter like that, but that's a project for down the road. I've seen a couple good deals on eBay but I want a cheap filter and I'm going to use this extra inline fan that I have. It shouldn't be too much trouble to build something that circulates the air in the room and filters it, since I wouldn't need it to produce laminar flow.

I paid 65$ for that one but anywhere from 80-140 on ebay depending on shipping costs cause they usually freight it they are just old stock ... so basically you will have the fan pulling the air through instead of pushing it?

Yeah. A negative air machine is basically just a box with a fan and a hepa, like a flowhood, but it's just for cleaning the ambient air and not producing a sterile work surface. I have an old inline exhaust fan for a grow light that I want to use, since I'm getting a new grow light with a better fan soon.
