Wow. it took me forever to read 3 days worth of posts.
When I worked in pet rescue we used to have to soak all the pet bowls in quat cleaner then we just pull them out and let them dry. I got in the habit of doing the same thing with my jars except using bleach. Works well enough and I know that if there is some mold I missed maybe because it's white all the spores die and I'm not walking around with dirty agar jars. Maybe overkill but it's been working for me.
Also my PC is different. It vents itself. It's a T Fal 22 Qt. I'm not exactly sure how it works but it goes up to pressure nice and slow. I set the dial to three which keeps it at 13-15 PSI because I have an electric stove. And then I wait. As long as I adhere to the proper time everything comes out clean.
I'm a little concerned that my PC may be hitting a higher pressure than the valve is indicating but nothing dangerous. I was thinking of installing a higher quality PSI gauge.

your comparison of the term nazi to such a trivial issue as grammar is offensive and triggering.

Considering you are just as off topic as she is I would tread carefully.

unless you seal totes up with tape/rubber seals, you dont need to 'give' it gas exchange. it just happens on its own

If i switch from pasty's agar recipe to munch's 1-2-3 recipe will i notice less tomentose growth and second will i be able to distinguish bacteria easier? Does low nutrient agar have any benefits over higher nutrient agar?
Pasty recipe 2 table spoons agar-agar 2 teaspoons potato flakes 1 drop of karo sugar
Munch recipe 1 gram dextrose 2 grams agar 3 grams potato flakes

First it's not my recipe, it's a recipe. If you want more rhizomorphic growth use less nutes. Try something like 1 gram potato flakes and 1 drop karo.

Does low nute agar give mycelium an advantage over bactetia in any way?
I'm not knocking the recipe/your recipe at all. It's my plates. I've bern trying to get rid of sneaky bacteria for a while without any luck.

i never cut liners. i just use 30 gallon trash bags. unfold it halfway and the bulk sub sits on the outside of the bag. then when the flush is done you flip the bag inside out and it doubles as a trash bag. real easy to clean up too. i generally just spray out my tubs with the shower head. then pour it out. done. simple. cutting liners is far too much work. if you don't like the bag sticking up. just tuck it to the sides.

Not really but lower might help it leap over it in certain settings. If you are having bacteria issues you will either want to employ a technique like the agar sandwich or warm pour, or use an antibiotic. Sometimes you might need a combination of antibiotics and techniques if the bacteria is really aggressive.

Mooo
I see no grammatical errors in his post. Every where he uses "your" it is used correctly as is "you're".

Haha grammar cow, clever and odd. Yeah I know, his grammar was perfect. I just wanted to use that emoticon and was hoping nobody would check...lol
Anyways, i cut off a little piece of my PF tek cake and put it on agar. Anybody have any luck with that? This cake has put out one shroom. The shroom weighed 10 grams wet. I took a little nibble of and had crazy visuals (my last batch of shrooms I Ate 3.5 grams with no visuals, just body high). I dried the shroom out and it's now 1.2 grams dry. ThAt bby was potent and I wanted to expand it...will let y'all know if I have any luck

Lol, same here but with heating. If I had my way I wouldn't ever turn the heat on, just put more layers on. Sadly I cannot do that to jars which have previously expressed their disdain at too low room temperatures...
