Well lesson learned. The blue oyster mycelium didn't GAF though. That shit is all over the place after I shook it. The lions mane might not come back at all. I'm pretty sure the PESA is going to be ok. And luckily I didn't shake my reishi jars. Do you think it would be ok to add some more lions mane culture to the lions mane jars if it don't come back in a few days? I'm going to be supe gentle and not shake them at such an early cruicial stage again. I just wanted more inoculation points. What I should have done is cut the agar up into more pieces before I put it in the jar. Sigh. I'll eventually get this. I think my best bet is to make a liquid innoculant out of the plate next time maybe? I'll have to remeber to make sterile water next time I make agar.

How can you shake your jars too hard? I used to throw my jars against this bird bath I have outside, and as long as the glass never broke the myc would recover. Even if I shook at 5% colonized

Some species are indeed a bit delicate. However whenever something doesn't recover from a shake I often suspect bacteria.

Go through the thread I posted for you. Every page. Really familiarize yourself with it. Everything you need to know is in there. Some put them in monos, while some don't. You can dub them, use the little lid like a 6qt mini mono, really read it. Wrote your answers to your questions down as you read them if you have to. Good luck.

You can fruit shoeboxes in a fruiting chamber..hell I've fruited in open air...a sgfc or monotub would be what I'd put shoeboxes into to fruit them...open air fruiting is kinda a pain in the ass but can be done

I left work early today, due to some major tooth pain. Haven't missed a day in like 2 years. Got so much stuff to do, make some pasty plates, do a g2g, cook some coir. Was hoping even though I feel shitty I could use this extra time to get shit done. But I just feel like I'm about to die. I dont even have the energy to get out of chair to go mist Shit sucks
