Hey, so I know this isn't worth a whole thread on its own, and I couldn't really find anything explicit on it while searching around. I'm sure I can, but I want to be sure: can I water my crop with grain water I saved?
I'm not talking about misting, but bottom-watering? Or is this a quick vector to contamination?

Ran across a bag of old spore syringes with some crazy names on them. Decided to take the spore syringes with the names on them that aren't out there, none of the vendors have, or have never heard of, and noc up a few agar plates with each variety.

Made some cat food agar yesterday.
Broke up a few teaspoons of cat food and used that instead of potato flakes. Think I have a culture in the fridge from my friend. May be bunk, may not. We will see soon.
Love you all.

This was my favorite hobby for a long time. Got damn good at PF TEK. failed 99/100 times with bulk, still was so cool when it (rarely) worked.
Have a couple zips I'm sitting on, and ate a few pieces the other day. Reinvigorated me. I gotta get good at this. I want to be very good at this.
If anyone has a used, super small flow hood for a couple hundred bucks, please holler. That's all I "don't have" that could be causing direct failure. If that doesn't work for me, then I can truly give Up knowing I've tried all i can do.
Thanks.

Something's clicked for me and my grain jars no longer get pooling of water at the bottom of the jar, I have high hopes considering bacterial contamination from this is probably what spoiled all my last tries!

Moab my man, you'll get it. Don't even worry about it. Even if it takes you years, I know you can do it. You've shown great dedication and pleasure in this hobby. Don't give up.

If there is pooling water at the bottom than it needs more time to drain (pooling water = 100% fail)
